A present 38 F with an expected low of 34F tonight. I feel great and thankful that the cancer is taking its good old time. I honestly thought, back in April that I would be gone by now! It's my own fault! I never asked the surgeon: How long do I have? Just assumed: cancer=rapid demise when not treated. So it's a great day, not a sign of illness. The day will come, but doesn't it for all of us?
Let me ask a completely silly and unrelated question. I watched a video on YouTube yesterday that compared things that Canadians used and Americans didn't! The host mentioned kettles. He maintains that no one uses kettles in America, since they don't drink tea! LOL That all water for coffee etc. is heated in a pot or microwave! That couldn't possibly be true, could it? A kettle is a must for me, for my tea, instant coffee, cuppa soup etc. and I have yet to heat water in the Microwave oven. Is he right, my American friends?
