Off to London again today.

Bit of an anti climax yesterday, as they did not tell me that I needed a blood test before I could start the new treatment, so that is all that happened yesterday.

I'm going back today to be shown how to inject myself with the new drug and to pick up supplies for next week. This will mean that in future I will only have to make two trips to London per cycle of treatment.

Today I'm waiting in for MrDPDelivery! He's delivering the new camera that Mrs Oy is buying for for my birthday. As usual the spare battery I ordered an hour later just arrived lol. I have a couple of hours before the delivery slot for the camera so it's off out for a visit to Mum (who's on the mend from her stroke) and then a nice lunch somewhere!

I'm on sick leave for a few days. Hoping to be ok to return to work on Tuesday. I think I may have gotten both viral and bacterial bronchitis at the same time. Fairly certain death would be more comfortable right now. *Chuckles*
oooh I thought you said you were going back the other day ? have you taken a turn for the worse?

Well I had a great nite's sleep, 8 solid hours yay!!! Then I got up and the COPD started up, barely able to breat for good 30 mins...and runny nose (?).,.but here I am, and I got my new to me laptop in last eve, so am trying to learn that...first thing I did was forget the password I'd put in last eve for the desktop!!!!!!
What h**** do I do now, well finally got on desktop, and of course don't know anything about Win 10, and got to have router installed I guess to get internet....
May not have been a wise choice with my lack of brain cells these days......but I felt I needed a backup to my desktop pc, primarily for banking....ah well...enuff of me....have a great day!!!;)

Relaxing ! Yesterday was my 90th birthday and I was truly surprised when all of our 4 kids and a few grands showed up in the evening for a quick party. 2 of them live in adjacent states and although we see them fairly often, I didn't expect the gathering on a weeknight.
We're fortunate to have all of our family (accept for one grandson and wife} living less than a 2 hour drive from here.
With my wife of 70 years at my side it was a pleasant family gathering for all.

After a biggish grocery shop day before yesterday, I realize I'd forgotten bread and coffee! Of all things; the very necessities of life! So I'll run to Aldi's down the street later today.

Washed Doggie Delight yesterday with body wipes, Also clipped the hair from around her eyes and gave her a good brushing.

Weather is sunny; in the 40's, may hit 50 today.

Today I will try to put clean laundry away. I hate doing that.

@Pepper Turn your TV to something really, really dull. Lie down and get comfy. Close eyes. Next thing you know, you'll be resting!

Or turn TV to something interesting but not exciting. "The History of...." Toys or food or whatever. On Nat Geo, I think. You probably won't go to sleep, but you'll be resting and entertained.

Y'all might have guessed that I'm home. Yup. I am. Another pleasant morning in the bakery. It was busy, and I didn't finish everything, but Sir said he'd have time and would do it. GG ❤️ Sir!

Yanno what? It's getting darned close to Christmas!

that's precisely what I did the other day on the way back from lunch with my friend in London. I stopped at M&S and Tesco before coming home, and got a load of groceries.. it was biblical rain.. getting dark.. and as I drove into our town..I realised I'd forgotten the milk.. and I had absolutely none at home, so I had no option but to drive to Aldi which fortunately I had to pass before reaching home..

I'm thinking: "Not much."

That puts me in mind of that old Midwest staple, Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know?" Anyone else remember that long-running radio show?

Brief clip of an intro here after the show left the air and lingered for a while as a podcast:
