What are you like when you wake up?

When I wake up in the morning, I have to ease into the day. It takes awhile some days to turn into a tiger. How about your wake-up calls?

When I wake up, I get up. I drink a glass of water, turn on the computer for work, get into something comfortable and walk outside for about 20 minutes. Then I eat breakfast and start work.

I lie there for a minute and think, "What do I have to do today?" Sometimes I'll just lie there for a few minutes and sometimes I get up right away.

First thing I do when I get up. Is to look in the Hactchthem and Dispacthem columns in the News paper.
If my name is not there I get dressed.:D:D

I get up by 7.45am, usually just after 7am in the spring and summer. I shower, have my first walk of the day usually about 25 minutes. Come home check my computer, do some chores. I have my breakfast at 9.30am, which consists of an apple, some almonds, soft dates and a mug of instant coffee. After breakfast I have a second walk and do more chores. The routine is only different on a Sunday when I have my breakfast earlier as I like to do my supermarket shopping at 9.30am before it gets busy.

me to, im a professional grump, don't care about the world, its problems or anybody on it till at least 2 cups. then i might pay attention

When I wake up I'm in a fog. It's during this time that I do routine things like make the bed, brush my teeth, get the coffee going.
Once I've had my coffee the fog seems to lift.

I head into the kitchen, have a good breakfast (my favorite meal), and take my coffee into the study to spend an enjoyable hour or two on the computer. By that time, I'm ready to shower, get dressed, and head out for the day.

When the alarm calls at 6:30, I don't linger too long, and do get out of bed. I disable the house alarm and go downstairs to fetch a cup of coffee for my Wife of 44 years. I deliver it,along with a wake-up song. We then pray for the day ahead. While she is off to the bathroom to perform her miracles, I wander into the log cabin room to fire up the computer (it is not alarmed, in fact it seems quite pleased to see me), to check the weather for the day. I have my coffee while I plan my jobs for the day.

I am a night owl. My biological clock never meant for me to get up early but I always pushed myself so, I get up not wanting to get up!! It's the worse feeling. Miraculously, if I am on vacation or I am camping, I am the first one to spring up, take a shower and start breakfast - go figure.

I felt a nice warm moist feeling on my feet at 4 am this morning, so instead of getting up at my usual 8-9 am I had to remove all the sheets and put those in the washer.
I swear Im gonna kill that cat.

My fault really,I forgot to leave the bedroom door open a bit.

Davey, That is worse than my problem. In the middle of the night I am awakened by one four dogs, never together, licking my face until I can't breath. If they could agree on a time and only wake me once a night I would be happier.

I don't stay in bed when the alarm goes off it goes about 4-30 am so I am not to good in the mourning.

Man that is really early. You've heard that story about the early bird getting the worm...well it didn't do the worm any good to be there early!

I'm fine about getting up in the morning just as long as I don't have to wake to the alarm clock. I lie for a few minutes to plan the day and then I'm away.
