Oh the memories this song brings back to me. When I was a teenager I went to dances every Friday Saturday and Sunday nights. On Saturday night I went to a boys school dances. Because it was run by Priests only girls could dance with girls to this number. Luckily the boys would form a circle and the Priests couldn't see the girls dancing with boys.
