What are you listening to in 2024 ?

Thought I'd heard (and liked) all their music but this is new to me, thanks.
Me too, though I prefer their earlier stuff. Mike Pinder's Mellotron added such a unique sound to the Moodies, but he left the group in 1978. Ray Thomas' flute is all over this tune, and he played well. Sadly, all the original Moodies are gone now; Pinder was the last and he died this past April. Hayward and Lodge were not part of the original Moodies but certainly they made their mark on the band. I think when drummer Graeme Edge died in 2021, Hayward announced that that was the end of the Moodies.
 
Neil is a really good acoustic guitarist and my favorite part of this video is at the very end
when he is approached in a park and the young man ask about playing this song.
Neil takes his guitar and proceeds to tune it to a 'Drop D' tuning in seconds, tells him play within it
and you'll do fine.
