What are YOU listening to in 2025 ?

My husband, surprisingly being Chicago born and raised, knows anything and all about them and this is his favorite album.
It is a gem. I first bought Pet Sounds back in my early 20s after hearing Paul McCartney rave about it. I was so unimpressed at the time, thinking "I don't get it. I don't like this very much." (I've talked to other Beatles fans who had the same reactions to this album—at first.)

Today, I wonder how I could have possibly overlooked the brilliance. I seriously wonder why I didn't love this album immediately—I'm not sure what I was thinking! I chalk it up to youthful ignorance.

This album is almost all I've been listening to lately.

Oh, so @IrishEyes, your husband must appreciate, and already know about, Phil Spector's influence on Brian Wilson. I actually don't know much about the Beach Boys, but a couple of weeks ago I was listening to "Here Today" and sent the link to my friend group, asking "Doesn't this sound very Phil Spector-ish? It sounds a lot like his Wall of Sound approach!" I was met with radio silence. They're not really music fans and were probably thinking "Who is Phil Spector? And what the heck is the Wall of Sound?" 🤣 (I don't mean that in an unkind way. They're just not really music fans.)

Then I read that Brian did indeed try to crack the Wall of Sound technique, and IMO did so brilliantly.
