So true. People will even do this to their very own kids so I guess it's no surprise that they'll do it to others' kids, sux though.

Absolutely!! I have my opinions on abortion, but rather than state those here I want to agree with you.

We badly need to reach some kind of compromise on this issue and move on. Minds won't be changed, but getting it out of the political debate would be a great thing.

We should have had a compromise on slavery to avert the Civil War. The African Americans could have been slaves Sunday through Fridays and be free on Saturdays with Wednesday afternoons off every other week. Yes, compromise is good especially if one has no interest.

I understand your point, and if it were up to me I would take the government entirely out of abortion decisions. However on this issue some kind of compromise is highly preferred to another civil war.

And that might have been a better way to end slavery as well. Although the Civil War ended legal slavery in the US, it took another hundred years for the descendants of the slaves to have anything close to equality. Perhaps compromise along the lines of what Brazil did might have been better in the long run...

I am sick of being asked to allow notifications on websites or to allow cookies. Or to sign up for email notifications so I don't miss a single story! I get enough spam in my email box. I'm not going to voluntarily sign up for spam.

And I'm sick of gambling commercials! Gambling is bad for society and people are no doubt losing their savings with this online betting. If gambling is going to be legal, the government should at least ban advertising for gambling.

And I'm sick of drug commercials. That's another product that shouldn't be advertised. Let your doctor recommend medications -- not corporations that profit from you getting addicted to the drugs they're advertising.
 
I'm sick of political ads over and over and over! I just tell them to "shut up" and then I change the channel.

I agree. The U.S. and New Zealand seem to be the only nations which allow this Propaganda. The drug companies spend billions on these ads, and the patients wind up paying for them with our our inflated drug prices.

That's not allowed on our TV and radio... only OTC meds can be advertised, so really hardly any medicine commercials at all.. a little bit of Vicks or some throats pastilles or some OTC rheumatism gel..is about as much as we get .. definitely no Drugs companies promoting prescription drugs.. also any gambling adverts .. have to be shown after the watershed.. watershed being 9pm... so as not to encourage kids ..

Not only that, I have had dozens of emails on the same subject "Your Camp Lejune Suit has been Settled," I send them all to my spam folder, but they all have a muddled bunch of letters and numbers in the Sender address, which usually has a .uk at the end, so I keep getting more in my inbox.

I am sick of being slammed for using all that is available with the latest technology . Much of it has evolved for decades now and I have embraced it as it has evolved. I enjoy being able to pick up my phone and listening to just about anything that has ever been recorded through my Bluetooth speakers or earbuds. I like the convivence of paying a bill using my phone. I like asking Google Home what the weather will be for the day and getting the latest forecast. I do not miss using fold out maps to navigate city streets ! I fully understand the risks involved but it is my choice to make.

BTW, I also understand those who might be sick of having to use devices such as cell phones to get things done these days. You do have my sympathy but don't slam me because I embrace it.
