What are you wearing today? just a fun thread.

You go girl.....🏋️‍♀️🤸‍♀️🧘‍♀️
I have Osteoarthritis, and full body aches and pains some of the time, but not all of the time, SO, when I have a good window so to say for getting in motion in a bit more assertive way, I head for the gym now twice a week at most. Walking the treadmill 30 min, elipticals 15 min, very light weight bearing, and always full body stretches both before and after exercising. So for me that is sweating it out lol, Thank You @ dobielvr :) Then after I take advantage of the Water Massage Therapy tables for 10 min to relax...

Good job! The gym is your friend! I go to the gym every day too. :)(y)

I simplified my wardrobe. I buy only: black or blue jeans; red, purple or grey t-shirts; black socks; black walking and dress shoes; red or grey jackets.

A while ago, my daughter asked if I ever change my clothes!! LOL I told her I can't be bothered co-ordinating - much easier to grab what ever is next on the hanger or in the dresser. (clean clothes are always put away at the "clean end" of he closet/dressers.)

Lovely weather day today! In the New Year I popped to the sales and bought an airforce blue knee length padded gilet and, guess what, today I got to wear it with light grey fitted joggers, grey slip on trainers and a long sleeved blush top. I am not putting my winter coat and boots away just yet but, it's really nice to be wearing clothes I thought I would have to wait until around April to finally wear. Strange how these little things in life can make you happy :)

Just a question about clothing in our 60s, if I may?

I've seen YouTube videos where some women are telling us what we're now having to wear. Personally, I've never followed fashion per se... I just wore a wee bit of clothing which was "a la mode" such as native decorated wool catsuits, Brigitte Bardot two piece bikini swimsuits and two-pieces top and hot pants shorts, mini-skirts and Gogo boots lol!

In the late 90s, I got in the bandwagon on women's SKORTS and T-SHIRTS dresses. Those were fun and of course, the bell-bottoms jeans, the pipe (drainies) jeans and the acid washed jeans too (these latters, I'd swore never to pay £60 for those ever again, after hubby's jeans around the knees ripped only two months of daily wear. Youch!)

So, are you following the rules in our golden years or what have you that suits your mood these days?

I understand. I have arthritis also, and experience good days bad days too.
The Water Massage Therapy tables sound wonderful.

I enjoy wearing two piece embroidered Pakistani suits, baggy drawstring pants with matching long tunic. I buy them at second hand stores. Comfortable, colourful, always elegant. Of course, I wear other clothes as well.

Probably what suits my mood.

I think a lot depends on your lifestyle, when I was working my wardrobe was mainly smart work clothes but, once that part of my life was over, leggings, joggers, sweat shirts and hoodies took over - mainly because when I joined the gym, I realised how comfortable those clothes are for during the day.

When shopping centres were banning local louts in hoodies from their premises, who would have thought that our age group would be adopting the style, although, thankfully not the low slung trousers - imagine running for the bus with your trouser crotch around your knees! On second thoughts, probably best to skip that thought! I wonder how many youths go shopping now, see a nice hoodie and think "Nah! my granny wears one of those!" :)

I loved bell bottom jeans and hipsters!
