What are your plans for this summer

Lots of bike trips around Scotland, other trips around Scotland. Beer and food festival on an island early in July. 21 year old nephew visiting in July so we'll be tour guides for a week. Then a trip to the US in August.

Hoping to fly up to Boston from Florida with granddaughter so she can see her Father after 5 years.
The airfares are ridiculous, thinking of driving the 1200 miles but it means going thru NYC and I'm not too crazy about that.

Thankfully I don't have to fly anymore. I hate being crammed into a crowded seat after paying a ridiculous price for a ticket. Good luck on your flight.

Well, having just returned from 10 days in Southern Spain, I have a week more off , then back to work. We're having a new drive fitted this summer hopefully as soon as we can find the time to arrange it all. Then if my o/h can take any more time off around September time we'll take another trip..maybe somewhere in the Uk (which amazingly is usually more expensive than going abroad) maybe Italy or Portugal just depends if he can take the time off.

Lots of hiking, rafting, just sitting outside and looking at the mountains. Festivals, county fairs, blue grass music events. Antiquing. Hoping to go to the Storytelling Festival in Jonesboro this summer. Celebrating my mother's 90th birthday here in NC with guests coming from all over the world.

No actual plans, but summer in this city is predicted to be very nice (not too hot) - events like jazz festival by the lake, craft fairs, farmer's markets, ferry rides to Toronto Island are always beckoning, and there's also lounging by my apartment pool or drinking wine on my balcony while watching the sun go down.

Half my summer will be at my home in MS playing golf with my buddies. The other half on the AL coast riding my bike, beach walking and a little golf. Pretty much what I do all year.

Taking a series of classes in eastern religions - Taoism, Buddhism, and Hinduism. S.O. and I will be doing some California traveling in August, including the annual Art Festival in Laguna Beach, Huntington Gardens in San Marino, and a visit with S.O.'s daughter and son-in-law in North Hollywood.
