Did my steps, starting my third cup of black coffee.

Thankful for a quiet peace filled morning in my comfortable little apartment on this cold winter morning!

I was up at an early hour and I toasted some waffles. They are whole wheat with vanilla. I put a little butter and maple syrup on them. Pretty good

At 4am today I had a couple of slices of smoked ham, each one wrapped around a slice of pickled gherkin. That was followed by a round of toast from a Tescos Batch loaf, with butter and strawberry jam. The whole lot was washed down with a cup of Nescafe Gold Blend coffee with milk.

Very interesting, first I heard of the cooking the egg this way, looks like fun.

This morning, I had the rest of the toast that I made for the 6-year-old exactly as she instructed but apparently I left out some esoteric step because I was told she couldn't eat it because I didn't make it the way she wanted. She couldn't, however, explain where I went wrong. I ate the toast and told her the kitchen was closed as of five minutes ago and she could wait until lunch for something else.

Sometimes, Meemaw just snaps. And eats toast.

This morning, I took the bitter pill after which I have to wait a half hour before eating. I went way beyond that time because I couldn't figure out what I wanted to eat. Then my son told me he was going to Dunkin. Right on time! I wanted a pumpkin muffin but they no longer have them. He called to let me know what they had. @Jazzy1, those blueberry muffins look delicious and was one of the options but I wound up getting a coffee cake muffin. I had it with green tea, made at home.
