What do you do to give yourself a little treat?

The park must be relatively new. I spent thirty-five years in Colorado and never knew it existed. I'm bound to get down that way at some point so I shall certainly take a squint.

Wow you all so good with your little pieces of chocolate and your bites of chocolate cake!
I had a big ole cheese steak last night! Ok that's more of a cry for help.
I had faced a big problem at work. I prepared and my work paid off and my patient left happy and I had a lot of relief.
My husband was out of town so on my way home I got the death steak,
I mean cheese steak and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It was a chicken cheese steak so I was able to rationalize it better.

I have had so many MRI scans... so many hospital procedures...if I ate my dark chocolate as a treat every time I'd be the size of a House...lol

Amazingly when I've gone though a traumatic hospital procedure, I don't treat myself to anything.. but as soon as I can afterwards I take a trip somewhere picturesque and take photos... photography is my passion.. so I feel like I've treated myself that way..

On a daily basis if I've spent hours scrubbing the house up and down, or working hard in the garden all day ...or some task I don't like then Dark chocolate is my treat to myself... which I'm actually eating right now btw..

Holly, I love dark chocolate too. I don't even especially like milk chocolate, only dark. I don't really think of it as a reward, though. It's just something I eat an individually wrapped, bite-size piece of, pretty much every day. (I have a bag of Dove dark chocolate with almond bites in the fridge, they taste even better cold). Do you get Dove brand in England?

About rewards in general, I'm pretty self-indulgent about doing whatever I feel like doing most of the time. So after doing a chore that I don't particularly like, such as ironing or cleaning, I usually just think,
"Thank God that's over, now I can go back to [doing whatever]." Gotta keep the priorities straight; the housekeeping chores are a minor interruption in my fun activities!

A woman after my own heart..lol

No we don't get Dove chocolate here Sunny, but we do have a huge variety of Dark and quality chocolate , and the darkest is usually Swiss or Belgian, although at 85% cocoa solids that is just too bitter for me..I like anywhere between 50 and 70 %...I too always..always.. chill the chocolate, I don't like it at room temperature at all.

My favourite is Dark chocolate coated peppermint ice , but sadly of late, peppermint and my stomach seem to have broken friendship. ...but there's loads more other choices..just very sad about the peppermint

I really can't stand Milk chocolate...and as for White chocolate that is the food of the devil...

I treat myself to a bag of Cheetos. Not that skimpy single serve bag,the family size. Chocolate chip mint ice cream will also do the trick . Once I've got the food choices figured out a full afternoon in my daughters old room among my many projects with the do not disturb sign hung on the door is the icing on the cake.

Yes, the orange fingers! Love 'em.

Yes, I think Trade looks a little young for that sort of thing.

Holly, another kind of chocolate I can't stand is chocolate flavored with sea salt. Now, I love salt and I love chocolate, but keep them separate, please!
