You're kidding about silk underwear. Thanks, but no chance, lol. I do have sweat pants though. No, I don't take any blood thinners. I do have Raynaud's syndrome, but it doesn't require treatment. I'm used it that most people want the temperature low, so I have to live with their wishes when I go to their homes, restaurants, etc. - but in my domain, my preferred temperature is 80 or above in summer, and then in winter I layer on more clothes as it is kept cooler to conserve on the natural gas bill.
When it's 100 degrees outside, if I ran my air conditioner on 72 or lower, not only would I feel cold, but the compressor would run almost constantly, generating a bill of around $300 or more per month. Not only that, but condensation from the unit that normally drains outside the house uneventfully would back up into the hot water heater pan and activate the water alarm + a mess to clean up. That has happened in past years, requiring a plumber to come out and unstop it.
