What do you take to bed with you?

I take me to bed. Not half the house, part of the bathroom, no tv. Nothing to eat, drink, listen to, watch, hug, and I sleep sans bottoms because they get twisted when I move around...and that's the only reason!

Am I the only one who doesn't have a TV in the bedroom ?

that's the same reason i don't wear a nightie... it just twists itself all around me.. very annoying...

Well besides DH, water, medications, ear plugs and some books. I'd love to have our cat join us, but she doesn't do that . Seems the people who had her before we got her wanted a dog,little by little she is learning to be a kitty. She will sleep on our sons bed, and if she is scared she will sit in his lap.

Hey, I didn't even mention I have an Echo Dot in there as well as an oil diffuser/humidifier.

Glass of water. Both pairs of glasses on nightstand. Microwaved heater bag. iPhone that is my alarm clock and my source of podcasts. I listen for 30 minutes, unless I fall asleep. If I’m awake in the night, I turn on more podcasts. I’ve found some soothing, sleep themed podcasts. The window is always open a small bit and blackout curtains are closed.

Couple times a week, I'll wear my smart watch to bed to check my sleep pattern.
Not sure why.
Being retired and no place to be, if I don't get proper sleep, I'll just take a nap.

A woman after my own heart Sue.... they do say its one of the worst things you can do for restful sleep to watch tv just before sleep.. or to look at a 'blue screen'..( computer or phone scree ...)

Absolutely not. No way will there EVER be a TV in my bedroom.

I have a clock radio, a CPAP machine, my Kindle, and certain firearms within reach. A lamp. That's about it.

I'm in a studio apartment, so my TV basically has to be in my bedroom. But I almost never have it on when I'm in bed.

When I go to bed, all I "bring" are my sleep mask and some extra pillows and blankets to snuggle with.

My nightstand is a different story!

There IS a TV in our bedroom, but it is hardly ever turned used.
It is VERY handy when bedridden post-op or when you are seriously sick.

flavored water
spare melatonin to take when I wake up during the night
I wear my Fitbit so I can track sleep cycles and duration
an eye mask to avoid the intrusion of a cat nose or paw
the remote for the fan in case I wake up with a hot flash
my kindle to listen to books as I go to sleep
my phone is nearby but set on 'do not disturb'

I have never had a TV in the bedroom. I just get in the bed and cover up.
There is a box of tissues on the night table along with a clock.

Back when I was about 11 years old I watched Dracula with Bela Lugosi and for a while after that I would put on a necklace with a crucifix on it when I went to bed to ward off vampires. I'd lay down flat on my back and place the crucifix right in the midlle of my chest. Bela Lugosi as Dracula was one scary dude.
