What do you take to bed with you?

There IS a TV in our bedroom, but it is hardly ever turned used.
It is VERY handy when bedridden post-op or when you are seriously sick.

LOL..being flippant here..but I can't imagine if I was seriously sick I'd want to watch TV..but I take your point..

Other than my hopes and dreams? Not much. But l always wear something. One never knows when an emergency might have you running out into the street. Sure, l like attention, but not that badly.

I have my dressing gown hanging on the back of the bedroom door, for just such an emergency...

I have a couple of friends who go naked in bed. Summer or Winter. I suppose it cuts back on the washing.

No TV for me. Mostly sleep in a recliner with Sophia curled up between my legs. I use a bluetooth set of headphones so I can listen to my music folder on my computer. Always a bottle of Southern Comfort within reach.
The other 3 fur babies prefer to sleep in the bed with mama.

I forgot to add -- I love dogs, but never in the bed. I found Pepper's reaction in her first night after I adopted her from the shelter -- "Oh, GOODY! A bed in which I can jump in and spend the night!" to be cute, but not to be entertained.

I shut that down in about 2 nanoseconds. She adjusted just fine.

I'm a tooth-grinder in my sleep (thanks, Mom), so I need to wear a mouth guard. So between the CPAP machine and the mouth guard, I feel like I'm playing American football without the cleats.

I agree..I'm a dog lover, but no dogs on the beds is a strict rule in this house

Remote and a rechargeable flashlight on the nightstand. I prefer that the cats are on the bed. Often the calico goes out to the living room during the night.

Since I have RA I move around a good bit to find a spot that doesn't hurt. My right hip especially along with my right shoulder are very painful when I lie down.

Water for thirst in case DH and I make love.
Drop my robe on the chair beside the bed for "emergencies".
A Colt .38 revolver.
