What do your grandchildren call you?

Each of my sons have their children call be by a different name. So when they call and say
Grandma, Nana, or Nonnie I know immediately which they are so no feelings get hurt.

(phonetically) My oldest granddaughter calls me Pawguh. Goes back to when she first started talking, and my son/her Dad called me and put the phone to her mouth and said ...

"Say hi to Grampa."
She said "Hi pugga."
"No, no, honey; say Grraa-m paa."
And she said "Paaaw guhh."

Another granddaughter calls me Dahtoo, short for dad #2.

The rest call me grampa and gramps, and Michelle is Meega.

MeeMaw is what the great-grands call me.

The "step"-grands call me by my first name but twice...like "Mary-Mary".

That's because it was "decreed" by certain parties that I wasn't to be called by any form of a grandmother name, so that's what we ended up with. My cousin's kids have always called me that.

It worked, but they've often slipped up and called me Grandma. In essence, I AM their grandmother.

Three call me granpa, two call me papaw. I love hearing either one. It was especially great the first time they were able to speak the word.

Depending on the family, I’m either Gramma, Grams, or Bee.

Ron is Papa to his grandkids, And Ron, or Raaaaan ( inside joke)or Ronathon (another joke) to mine.😉
