What drives you nuts?

People at a ATM machine who stand there and count the money, stand there and put receipt in purse or billfold then double check to see if they got all the money then (men) pat their pant to make sure billfold is in their pants (women) who check if purse closed, then some need to locate their cane and shuffle off. I have a cane, only use it when I have been drinking. lol Then when you get a grocery cart that has a squeeky wheel. Then when we are going to grocery and Sweetie says, '' I am ready I just need to pee,'' I go start the truck and wait and wait and wait and she finally comes out climbs in the truck and says ''lets go'' like she has been waiting on me. lol..

I don't know where to start:
2 many commercials even when you're paying for cable tv
Liars and Gossip
Rude People
People that aren't good parents
People butting in to your private business
I'll stop here before I give all of you a headache
!

I hate that as well AC especially Christmas / Easter ect we are asked to donate to a charity to feed people who are on welfare
Money given by the government to feed the kids should be their first priority not cigs / booze / drugs

it used to be a bit of a joke in Britain that in America they would occasionally interrupt the commercials to show some programming! Now it's like that here too.Which is why I record things!

I also don't appreciate cashiers asking me to donate or round up my total. I know they've been instructed to, but I don't like it.
I dislike this also and will say no every time merely out of principle.
Its done as a form of manipulation by purposefully trying to humiliate the paying customer.
How pathetic is that? It doesn’t work with me. When I contribute to charities it’s because I want to not because I’ve been guilted/humiliated into doing so.

That bothers me at Christmas/Easter. Everyone goes bonkers for charity. I am always thinking. What do they do for the rest of the year? You feel good because they have a Christmas dinner for poor people?

Here's one that I find very annoying. When I get a robocall, probably a scam, sometimes I google the number they called from. Sometimes there is a discussion by a lot of other people who were annoyed by them, saying it is a scam, don't deal with them, etc. But sometimes I get an ad for a web site that says, "FREE phone lookup." It claims to tell you who is calling you from a particular number, free of charge. So when I put in the number,I get a
"special offer" of only $1.95 to find out who it was. Never used it, of course.

I wonder if the special offer people are the same ones who keep annoying me with the robocalls in the first place.

when you go into a meat market and you are waiting your turn someone walks in and get waited on right away---i wonder (am i invisible)

Uh…yeah

I usually do one of two things;
Tell them of all the places I donate, then get into the whys
Or
Ask them if they’d care to round down, as I’m a senior citizen, on a limited income….

It appears I'm the exception, but this doesn't bother me. For instance, Costco collects for Children's Hospital Los Angeles for a few weeks every year. When the cashiers ask if I'd like to donate $1, I always say yes. From my perspective, it's a couple of dollars out of my pocket each year, the cause is a good one, and I ultimately make a much smaller donation to them than if I were to make a direct website type donation.

The combined small generosities of many Costco shoppers add up to a meaningful contribution to an excellent cause. Most of us will never miss that couple of dollars. From my perspective it's a win-win.

I like the round down and will use it the next time I am ask to round up my total and I understand their point, but damn. We do give, but to Shrines Children Hospital who treated our grand daughter who is a perfect healthy teenager today. (that would be another post for another site)

Being left hanging....when someone commits to a time, no show/no call, or shows up 45 min late all nonchalant, shrugging and acting like "I'm" too rigid and unreasonable....MAKES ME FURIOUS.

Trying hard to not watch a left-hander trying to write a letter.

(How did they get that way......born that way or simply got that way out of habit ?? It's a righthanded world ya know.)
