What exercise have you done today?

Held it to 2,000 calories yesterday.

Weighed in at 201 this morning.

2 mile walk on the nature trail. Then 15 sets of 10 Bench Presses with just the bar.

I cycle pretty much every day. I do about 90 minutes on the bike most days. It feels great to be outside.

And I do bodyweight exercises at home. Push ups, squats and inverted rows (using a band I can clamp behind the door). I am monitoring this so I can gradually increase the reps over time.

Just got to move around a lot more. Good for the body, good for the mind.

Aching muscles from pick axe and digging three more hours today. Is amazing what WORK raking 1" landscape rock, which adorns 90% of Arizona homes is! At least I got out and did something. Yay.

I used to do this kind of thing for 6-8 hours a day until I was about - well last summer, now I have throttled back just so I will have something to do tomorrow...but it really slows down my finished rate....

Still doing my 15 minute work-out. Had to do it a little more slowly the last few days because I strained my lower back lifting my Christmas amaryllis in order to throw it out. I didn't realize that my watering had formed the soil into a very heavy clay-like substance.

Darn thing.

I've never seen those flowers in pink. They're pretty.
Too bad you had to toss them..

Excercise?! I have full body essential tremor shaking which starts me "exercising" from the first move I make right after waking up in the morning (or even from sitting here at my computer for a while), and on through the rest of the day. My problem is I make up for those calories burned by eating too many calories during the day, and not exercising. I have a flat concrete block I could step onto & off of over and over again to burn off those extra calories while watching an interesting T V show. Trouble is, there are no shows THAT interesting. 🤣

Yesterday, I went for my annual check-up and was horrified at how much weight I've put on. In this cold weather, I've been very lax about exercising. It's quite easy to incorporate a few exercises into your day. It's just a matter of making a habit.

Another double. 2 miles on the trail in the am, then back for another 1.25 miles in the afternoon.

That gives me 90 miles for year. 55 in January and 35 so far in February. I've promised myself that if I can get in at least 50 miles a month I won't have to go back to using that Medeval Torture Machine, the Spin Bike.

Did bench presses in between. Still having twinges from my rotator cuff tear so I'm just doing sets of 10 with the bar. When I go that ligt my shoulder actually starts to feel better after a few sets so hopefully that is helping rather than hurting the injury.
