What exercise have you done today?

2 miles on the nature trail this morning, then deadlifts. Then back to the nature trail for another 1.25 mile walk. Now all I want to do is eat and lay around like a vegetable.
Haven't done any exercise since first week or so of Jan and scale is showing it...that and all I can do is eat, as am not entirely happy about a move back to Texas.

Since am staging the house, had to put my trainer bike in storage... I need to start getting over to Davis Monthan's gym 3-4 days a week...I keep stalling. Need to get motivated again... DM They have a really good gym...and it is only 7 miles to get there, but gotta time gate crowd coming and going.

But at least worked out in the yard today.

I love hotdogs.... I can't even buy a package and get started on one or I will eat 2-3....especially if there are soft buns to go with them...

Tai Chi class this morning - and my legs are shot haha! Many people see a Tai Chi form and think it's relaxing and easy. Yes - performing the form can and shoukld be be (IMHO). But there's sometimes a big difference between practice and performance. For example there could be a 5 move section that involves slowly standing one one leg then extending in a slow kick with a transition to another direction etc. Practicing this repeatedly for 30min, slowly - is not relaxing or easy! NAP TIME!!!!! :ROFLMAO:

2 miles on the nature trail.

Bench presses. Had to go back to square one on them. I had been trying to slowly increase them but the shoulder pain started to come back. So I went all the way down to doing them with just the 40 lbs bar. 10 sets of 10. Feels like nothing but I hope it helps get the blood flowing to the injured rotator cuff.

Yep, "Kick heel" and "Rooster Stands" are challenging balance forms for sure.

I must begin a muscle building routine, and be faithful. Even if it begins as five minutes a day.............I took a good look at my muscle tone and I don't like what I see. Although I am 75, and have been through the wringer, I do believe I can attain and maintain some muscle strengthening. It's not too late, is it? I don't think so. It will require dedication, and that's never been my forte but I am sure it will be worth it.

I'm getting frail & that scares me.

I did do 7 minutes in the am & 5 minutes in pm of strength building exercises & stretches. I must set up a pattern for every day. Don't mind starting small. Maybe I'll invest in a new exercise bike, a small one. Just need to be CONSISTENT, PEPPER!!!!!!!!! Just do it. Slow & steady. Keep on moving on.

I'm really getting frail, and I don't like it. Skinny, I'm skinny, who needs to be old and skinny? Young & skinny, now that can be a plus.

If I may ...... I'll suggest resistance bands . Much easier on the joints , and as you gain strength , it is very easy to increase the load / resistance. Plus they are comparatively cheap .

Another one of the ravages of old age. At my peak I was 6 feet 1 inch. Now I am down to 5 feet 11. :(
Here too. Was 5 ft 8" until I hit about 45; now am at 5'7" stretching it to get that and the weight does the opposite. 😟 It is what it is...

Yesterday, I ran all around the park with my son/grandson. I couldn't believe my energy, how fast I flew! It came from their love for me.

Today, I will do chores as exercise, a few trips to laundry room, clean my windows or floors. Tomorrow I will re-start my regular exercise plan, adding minutes if/when I can.

PS
Me & @Eupher had fun on our walk. I love to pull the lazy guy along!
