What exercise have you done today?

Rode the motorcycle up to the nature trail this morning and did the shorter 1.3 mile walk. It was 27F (-3C) when I left and by the end of my 15 minute ride to the trail head my fingers were numb and in pain. I have what are supposed to be winter gloves but they just didn't do the job in temps his low. On the way back I was puting my hand against the engine at every stop light hoping that would warm my fingers. It helped a little but not much. Later I went shopping to try to get some glove liners to wear inside my gloves but no luck.

Several stores showed that they had them on their website but then when I got to the store they didn't have any. I ordered some on the internet but they won't be here for 5-7 days. Or maybe longer "Shipping may be delayed due to severe weather conditions". :(

Tomorrow the low is forecasted to be 22F (-5C) If I decide to ride again I'm going to try using some latex glaves that I bought for Covid as liners and see if that helps.

Usual --- walk a mile to gym, and mile back. 45 minutes of aerobics (mostly stair climber), 15 minutes of floor exercises, 45 minutes of weights, 10 minutes of stretching. Always walk for 40 minutes in the morning before the gym. Wife and I want to keep hiking as long as possible.

Bench Presses in the early morning.

Then a 1.3 mile walk at the nature trail. It was 29F (-2C) at dawn and I just couldn't face another sub freezing motorcycle ride to the trail so I waited until about a quarter to 11 to leave. By then it was up to 47F (8C) and my fingers were fine in my winter gloves.
