What food is your area known for?

I like all the above except what the heck is Apizza, is that a misspell. Coming from the NW, apples are a given. Honestly, never had lobster.
"Apizza" is was original spelling. Italian-Americans pronounce it "ah-beetz", with the last vowel A being dropped so low it's barely a sigh.

(For some reason descendants of the huge wave of Italian immigrants dropped vowels at the end of words)

Thank you. Well I like-a that-a too.

ADDED: By the way, My wife is half Italian, so I'm not making fun of anyone. She also talks with her hands for the hearing impaired like me.

Coney dogs (originated here, not on the East coast). Both kinds: Detroit and Flint style... thugh both harken back to the original from Jackson.

Pasties (the Cornish type). Some swear by gravy, heathens insist on ketchup.

Detroit style pizza.

Wet burritos. Best still come from the originator: Beltline Bar in Grand Rapids.

Superman ice cream, which uses Blue Moon ice cream.

Paczki. Polish, sort of like a filled fried risen donut.

Quite a variety! The Packzi sounds good!

We have all varieties; Mexican, Italian, Greek, Vegan, Armenian, etc.
But, we also have an abundance of fresh fruits and vegs grown in our state.

Nearby are peaches, oranges, tomatoes, lettuces (around the coastal towns) and grapes. You can drive by and actually see the people out in the fields picking the produce.
