"Apizza" is was original spelling. Italian-Americans pronounce it "ah-beetz", with the last vowel A being dropped so low it's barely a sigh.I like all the above except what the heck is Apizza, is that a misspell. Coming from the NW, apples are a given. Honestly, never had lobster.
Thank you. Well I like-a that-a too."Apizza" is was original spelling. Italian-Americans pronounce it "ah-beetz", with the last vowel A being dropped so low it's barely a sigh.
(For some reason descendants of the huge wave of Italian immigrants dropped vowels at the end of words)

hmm. I have never tried that combo. Sounds good though.Beef & noodles served on mashed potatoes.
Depends who makes it. Often found at fund raisers. If you get a good gravy and the burnt ends it's really good. Like most food, depends on the cook-- or how hungry you are.hmm. I have never tried that combo. Sounds good though.![]()
Quite a variety! The Packzi sounds good!Coney dogs (originated here, not on the East coast). Both kinds: Detroit and Flint style... thugh both harken back to the original from Jackson.
Pasties (the Cornish type). Some swear by gravy, heathens insist on ketchup.
Detroit style pizza.
Wet burritos. Best still come from the originator: Beltline Bar in Grand Rapids.
Superman ice cream, which uses Blue Moon ice cream.
Paczki. Polish, sort of like a filled fried risen donut.
Mexican food is everywhere in Texas.
What, no cheese? There is some good fresh and smoked fish.
Otherwise not much, so we just get a steak.
that sounds lovely, dobielvrWe have all varieties; Mexican, Italian, Greek, Vegan, Armenian, etc.
But, we also have an abundance of fresh fruits and vegs grown in our state.
Nearby are peaches, oranges, tomatoes, lettuces (around the coastal towns) and grapes. You can drive by and actually see the people out in the fields picking the produce.
I could go for that! Well, except the beer, I don't drink.Baltimore’s favorite foods:
Steamed crabs, seasoned with Old Bay
Crab cakes. All served with ice cold beer.
