What happened to illegal immigration?

I've looked around the web for info on newest account of illegal immigrant inflow but didn't find any. Nothing on the wall either. Used to be hundreds of thousands crossing our southern border & fear of caravans reported daily.

They need to protest or do some looting to get the news people to notice..
 
I'm always puzzled by "news media". Does this include newsprint, magazines, internet sites, radio talk shows, and TV broadcasts ? Or do we "cherry pick" sources that we agree with and trash everything else. Are our favorite news outlets included when we talk about "the media"?
NPR and Rush are both "news sources" (according to some) but the news that they report might possibly be from two different planets.

Are some of us granted some "God given" ability to discern who's right and who's full of s^^t ?

To get any news that is fact driven, rather than opinion, requires a lot of searching from many sources.
