What have you bought recently?

This morning I got an Amazon delivery — a device for putting lotion on your back. I live alone and get really dry itchy skin in the winter so it’s very annoying that I can’t reach easily when I need lotion. I’m glad someone invented these.

I love the vintage cast iron cookware. Unfortunately, last summer I moved into an apartment that has a glass cook top! No more cast iron. 🙁

precisely... an absolute diamond find as I said before... the only issue is, because he's so brilliant at the work and cheap , he's in great demand...

he was telling me today that he has quite a few of his ''lonely ladies'' come onto him.. but he said he's not interested...

tellng me one woman came out in a tiny baby doll outfit, and he said to her to put some clothes on before she got cold... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I was just on my way to bed, I shouldn't have opened my emails.. but I foolishly did, and there was an invoice for lawyers fees.... :eek::eek:

That on top of the water bill which arrived today and the handymans' fees, and the gardeners fees yesterday has now made this week an extremely expensive week...:(

Just little things on Amazon but I woke up one day and said "why are you being so cheap" and "this may be your last car". My car was 9 years old and I realized I was traveling less and spending more time in my car for errands. It was not easy going to a dealership after 9 years. I was so stressed, but I ended up with this. I was still frugal, since it had almost 3000 miles and someone else took the depreciation. I'm loving driving it.

My checking account is turning blue from being squeezed so tight, but after DD made me buy flowers yesterday, I had to go back first thing this morning to get more dianthus while they're still only a dollar each. Had to because...frugal, donchanno. But it's too cold and yucky to even plant them today.
 
I bought a box of orange and lemon chocolates for my neighbour in way of a thnks for all the food they send me...I took it around a few minutes ago, and she was begging me not to think that she was sending me food to get gifts..lol

I also paid for a car wash today.. paid for a coffee at the garden centre... and then got some groceries from M&S on the way home

Besides coffee, what did you get at the garden center?
 
Is anyone else getting Alexa notifications from Amazon about "a product you may be interested in" that goes on a deep-discount "lightning" deal?

These seem to trigger at around 35% off, and usually the notification comes when there are 15 to 20 minutes left on the deal.

I never buy these blind. I add the item to my cart, then examine it online. So far I've always been interested (so, decent recommendations) but looking the item and sale price over I delete it from my cart. However you are offered the "buy it now" opportunity too.

I bought a pair of ankle boots from Macy's online. Reduced in price...that was a nice surprise. I had been at the store admiring the same shoes which I was told were out of stock. Asked her check around to the other stores and online, I thought. They were no where to be found. 'Till I chked online yesterday and there they were. So I scooped them up... :)
