I like those.I got some night lights. They have dimmers & they go on automatically when it's dark & shut off in any light. Can't believe how cheap they were - $12.00 for two.

I've got the same... one on the landing at the top of the stairs, and one at the bottom of the stairs in the Hall.... I've also got motion sensor lights all the way up the stairs.. since our Energy prices went through the roof this last year !I got some night lights. I thought I remembered you saying you had brought some...I've got the same... one on the landing at the top of the stairs, and one at the bottom of the stairs in the Hall.... oh yes, they're very handy, and bright. The ones that plug into the top and bottom electric sockets come on for about 10 seconds as you pass them lighting the immediate area in front and side of you... and the ones on the stairs, the motion sensor lights run on batteries or can be charged using USB... I've charged some of them once since I got them, and so far not had to change the batteries ( AAA) at all in all the ones on every step.. so they last a long timeI thought I remembered you saying you had brought some...
Do you still like them?
I have a few of the plug in type scattered through the house and garage. Not bright enough for anything but safety, but that's what they're there for.oh yes, they're very handy, and bright. Having had a toner printer, why would you return to inkjet? I'm soooo over inkjet printers.Tax season is just around the corner, done my own & others for years (no longer). This year I need new toner. Cost is just over $75 combined for both colors. Looked at Amazon, a new printer with smaller toner supply is $70 (plus free shipping), toner alone would be $75. The best option is a new printer, but since Prime is history in May '23 I decided to look at Walmart. A comparable HP deskjet is on sale for $49+ free shipping. Bought the Walmart printer & saved $20+, Prime is not looking needed once again.
Cost was my motivator. Both use cartridges but only need it at tax time, can't think of the last time I needed to print usually save to the cloud. Both are either inkjet or deskjet, deskjet is HP's name for them. The other consideration is compatibility, HP usually works well with Linux, they're not tied to MS as closely as other manufacturers.Having had a toner printer, why would you return to inkjet? Ahhh... I print several times a week for business or personal needs. Toner printers are much cheaper in the long run. Bonus: the ink doesn't run if the paper gets wet.Cost was my motivator. ADDED: Savings so far starting on the 26th of Jan is now @ $33 towards the $139 goal. One coffee maker & one printer.
Hi Murrmurr... which hand vac did you get? Are you pleased with it?Bought a rechargeable hand-vac today...mainly for the area around Pixel's "bathroom". I don't use clay litter anymore, I switched to wood pellets. I like them a lot! Pixel doesn't track them all over the floor, but he does pitch several out of the potty box fairly often...not worth digging out the vacuum cleaner for that.
The potty box itself is a snap to clean since I started using wood pellets, and it never stinks...well, except for a few minutes right after he deuces in it. So I only have to clean the box twice a month; just tap it on the floor once or twice and every bit of everything comes loose, and then you just empty it into a trash bag.
I didn't want to spend much bc I won't use it very much, so I got a Black & Decker Dustbuster. Installing the charger was kind of a bear. The holes for screwing it to the wall are at the top and bottom. It would have been a whole lot easier if there was one on each side instead. I clean the little filter with the small, fairly soft broom that came with a dustpan I bought years ago. Would have been nice if the hand-vac included 1 or 2 replacement filters, but no.Hi Murrmurr... which hand vac did you get? Are you pleased with it?
I have to get a new one...any suggestions?
Thanks Murrmurr. My old one (that fell in the swimming pool) is a Black and Decker. Perhaps, I'll go for same again.I didn't want to spend much bc I won't use it very much, so I got a Black & Decker Dustbuster. Installing the charger was kind of a bear. I paid under $40 for it at Walmart (online), and it's worth that.
Don't invite it to any pool parties. Thanks Murrmurr. My old one (that fell in the swimming pool) is a Black and Decker. Perhaps, I'll go for same again.
I have a string of them on top of my kitchen cupboards strung between my collection of glass vases. Nice night light and I can dim or brighten them with the remote.I have a few of the plug in type scattered through the house and garage.
