What have you bought recently?

Oh, I forgot! I have found that the thrift store is the best place to find good new dish towels. I always look when I'm in there. I got a set of four white with blue trim made in Pakistan and two lovely green patterned ones made in USA.
They were about a dollar each which is less than the dollar store and superior quality.
I think ladies had them in their closets saved for company and never used. Unfortunately, for whatever reason their belongings were sold.
I will use them every day and replace them when needed. They're the thick terry type. I usually run across one here and there so this was a haul!

I ordered this dining table and the cart a couple of days ago.
Made an extra expense……with the table……sold my big dining table back in December, when my plan was to move to a 55+ complex, which didn’t have room for my table…..but since I’m moving to a standard apartment I have room for a big one again.
The table top will be a driftwood colour, which matches the fabric on the seats of my chairs, and the table has iron legs, which my chairs also have……I think it looks like a good match.

Also ordered this collapsible cart…..will keep it in my car…..for shopping when I don’t get deliveries…..unfold it…..off to my apartment I go…..no carrying…..clever idea, I think.A7800403-5B65-47B4-BB42-653DC78C09EB.jpeg4809A9F5-F10A-47AE-94DF-21998EC6E102.jpeg3B40F4C5-07C9-4198-9B70-9FF269D3E658.jpeg

@MickaC That a senior's version of a little red wagon. Does it have a cover?

Now y'all sit up and take notice! I spent money and it wasn't for flowers, plants or ice cream. (Are you listening @hollydolly?)

I just p*ssed away $38 for two solar wind chimes. They light up and change colors at night. One is butterflies, the other is just tubes. I already have two, both hummningbirds. And three solar lanterns. There's plenty of room for all of them because the garden is so big.

DD bought new solar lights to show off the flowers planted around her mailbox and gave me her "old" ones. I put them in my garden and aimed them at the gazing ball.

I didn't mention Walmart to DD because I dunno if I really want to battle the weekend crowd. Tomorrow morning is a better time, I think, and I can get my hair cut, too, because my favorite cutter used to work only weekends but added Mondays. Yeah. Tomorrow sounds good for Walmart and haircut.

Sooo...spent money today and will spend money tomorrow. It's burning a hole in my pocket;)

Nope…..no cover on my little red wagon. 😉😄😆.

But DD spent almost $300! That included groceries, of course, but she also bought new blinds for the laundry room and a closet. And a scratching post for her kitty. And some stuff for DGD.
