What have you bought recently?

It really is Trish! I'm very happy with my purchase(s). It even has a zipper in the back. Here are some of the specs. It is faux leather but looks like real leather, made in China.

it's kind of similar to the leather bag I bought a few weeks ago...

Sent off for a Cardinal Coffee Mug for my wife.
We recently lost our Daughter-In-Law, who was married to our oldest.
He passed 3 years ago and now his wife has passed.
She lived next door and she continued to be a big part of our lives.

The front of the Mug has a Red Cardinal and the back has these words...

THOUGH WE MAY BE APART,
YOU NEED TO KNOW
THAT YOU ARE
ALWAYS IN MY HEART.

THE CARDINALS PRESENCE
IS REASSURANCE THAT YOUR
LOVED ONE IS ALWAYS WITH
YOU WHEN YOU NEED THEM.

ALL YOU NEED TO DO
IS LOOK FOR THEM.

Not purchased yet, but went around the pages of Amazon looking for a multiple set of new SS roasting trays.

My old ones have, unfortunately, rusted. The perils of nonstick type pans. They flake (the nonstick coating) due to having to use elbow grease on sticky (but yummy) BBQ sauces.

When daughter and I completed the unpacking of box marked oven that had been forgot in storage after our house move. Having been outside in the cold and hot temperatures, just messed them up.

As we went through, all four black roasting pans with white spots, that material, I can't remember the name just now, are showing signs of wear and tear.

We believed earlier today, that we needed to replace our in-drawer cutlery tray. It needed a good cleaning. So, I got going emptying it for a good soak. Unfortunately, hidden under forks and all, we found that it had cracked in few places.

Thankfully, checked our IKEA glass cabinet and found a lovely unused wood tray navy blue, cutlery tray. Fits drawer perfectly, so job done. No need for new one.

So, sometimes you need to replace old with new. Other times, the item was there all along. It shows how much I was affected morally after the loss of my son. Husband bought things I didn't noticed back then. Thankfully, I'm on the road to recovery...

Hoping this is fine post-wise 👍

Just recently went to an estate sale bought several items that included outdoor and patio pottery flower containers, wicker and metal stands, antique glass wear and big metal advertising signs, spent about $100....gave most all to my daughter that sells online and flea markets..she can get double and triple the cost...it was really a good estate sale, many good bargains.

@Supernatural That speckled pan...enamel. There was a time when ever kitchen had at least one enamel roasting pan. I still have one. Yup.

Today I spent $4.50 on cookies that DD/DSIL love. I packaged them so no concern that any customers had their fingers in them. $4.50. Imagine. Just threw caution to the winds again and frittered away DD's inheritance.

A gel anti-fatigue kitchen mat.... .....I wouldn't ever advocate using a rug or mat in the kitchen except at the back door..for fear of trips ..but the Gel mat is different for those who don't know.

It doesn't lift up at the corners.. it's shaped to face down to the floor so there's no tripping edges.. but the sheer relief from pain on the back and knees when standing at the sink for long periods is amazing. I'm sorry I didn't know about these along time ago..

I also bought new perfume. Clinique Aromatics Elixir

A hot water bottle in a navy and white fur cover... no electricity needed to warm the bed)..

a Bag of masonry nails...

..and a pair of hygrometers...

That's an eclectic bag.. that would have me driving to several towns , and several stores to find.. so thank goodness sometimes for Amazon..

Love the mat , girlie.
Is the gel the same as rubber underneath?

2 Fairly large pots to plant climbing banksia roses in to cover the side of the Garaport where we stored our caravan prior to selling it .
The Garaport is a area attached to the shed but without walls
The new pots are 54x 54 cm and took 3 1/2 bags of potting mix to fill each pot each bag has 25 ltrs
The bankisia roses are planted to get used to the vicious winds we get here due to being fairly close to a beach
