A heavy-duty, but small, lever switch for shutting off power across our front gate. For the new, stronger electric fence.
Whatcha got there? Triffids?A heavy-duty, but small, lever switch for shutting off power across our front gate. For the new, stronger electric fence.
Goodness no! Just raccoons and bears (Ursus americanus), and they're problem enough. Eating our corn, squash, or what ever hasn't rotted-down enough in the compost piles.Whatcha got there? Triffids?
Ooh, thanks for the happy bit of morning news.Heads up @StarSong! Our bank accounts are fat today. The eagledid his duty during the night

Y'all! Sit up and take notice! I didn't succumb to the siren song of Prime Day and wasn't even tempted to browse because, yanno, there's really nothing I need or want and really no room in The Hovel for anything more.
Toilet seats and mat for under the dog bowls. Geez. You really went hog wild...jussayin'So exciting, Amazon got me to buy two toilet seats, a new mat for under the dog's bowls, couple of baking mats, couple of pairs of leggings. I normally don't wear leggings but need some to start physical therapy next week.
Me, too, and what a deal!@Jules I love, love, love that jacket!
don't worry, I will do some more looking today. I have needed to replace the toilet seats for a while. The dog mat, I have 90lb chow that does not know how to drink water. He makes a pond while he gets a drink lol!Toilet seats and mat for under the dog bowls. Geez. You really went hog wild...jussayin'

Same here: small town with little availability. I use Amazon a lot, including some grocery items I can't find locally (e.g., whole peppercorns).I live in a small town where the shopping mainly consists of WalMart and Dollar General. The nearest larger cities (though still not large) are an hour away. And even there My shopping experience leaves something to be desired. So, little by little, I have begun to do almost all of my shopping, except for groceries, on Amazon. I can shop from my recliner, and it comes to my door for free. But now my living room is full of boxes.
