What have you bought recently?

A pair of 'wellies', the problem is, the left one is a size 10, and the right is a size 11.
I'll just have to wear two pairs of socks on the right foot. 😊
Why. Was it a mistake on your part or the price was too good to be true.

Or you could buy another odd pair of wellies - make sure the left one is a size 10 and use the size 11's as plant pots - I hear it's very popular in some parts of the country. Alternatively, you could hide your sweeties stash in the toe of the size 11 welly ;) :)

Trish, you wouldn't hide your sweeties in my wellies, not if my feet had been in them. 😊

I’m going to re-donate a shirt I bought the other day for $3. It’s a name brand, new and just doesn’t fit quite right. It was such a beautiful green. Better that it be back in the store rather sitting unworn in my cupboard.

Today I exchanged a hat for a pretty blouse. Again, I liked the hat but knew I’d never wear it.

So, Mr. Bond, you encourage formal wear?
So be it. The bow tie it is then.

We saw this show a couple of years back,
we promised ourselves we would see it
once more if it ever came round again.

From Spectre:
Clinic Barman: “Here you are, sir: one proleptic digestive enzyme shake.”
James Bond: “Do me a favour, will you? Throw that down the toilet. Cut out the middle man.”

It is a Waitrose product, they sell quite a few different ones. The Apple and Pear one is really nice. (y)

Plastic bladed grain-scoop shovel. These fit nicely in the back of the car for winter, and I use them for snow in general. They also work great as a sort of "standing dust pan" along with a rake for picking up piled leaves to dump them into bins and bags.

I'd bought one last year but it ended up living at my son's house. My old one is heavily taped up with crack repairs since sunlight made it brittle. The cracking comes from using the shovel to tamp down loads of leaves. It still works for now but you can't buy replacement blades cheaper than a whole new shovel. 🤯

Funny how that happens, you buy something and it runs away to the kid's house!

I needed a new coffee machine. First, I used the internet to compare prices. Interesting that the same machine was being sold at different prices by different stores. Currys was the most expensive. B&M was the cheapest, so I went there and got what I wanted. Checked on-line and found that Currys had reduced their prices and it would have been cheaper there. Wish now I hadn't looked!

Wow! I didn't know that Waitrose was originally Waite, Rose & Taylor!

I like Sainsbury's deli counter, they have so many different things. I like to shop around and find things we haven't tried before.
