Why. Was it a mistake on your part or the price was too good to be true. What have you bought recently?
A pair of 'wellies', the problem is, the left one is a size 10, and the right is a size 11.
I'll just have to wear two pairs of socks on the right foot.![]()

Trish, you wouldn't hide your sweeties in my wellies, not if my feet had been in them.Or you could buy another odd pair of wellies - make sure the left one is a size 10 and use the size 11's as plant pots - I hear it's very popular in some parts of the country. Alternatively, you could hide your sweeties stash in the toe of the size 11 welly![]()

Jules, they were all loose, in a big heap in Lidl, I didn't look at the size in both wellies, so, I'll take them back to the store with the receipt and hopefully they will swop the size 11 for a 10.Why. Was it a mistake on your part or the price was too good to be true.

It is a Waitrose product, they sell quite a few different ones. The Apple and Pear one is really nice. That chutney sounds delicious.
That sounds really niceI used to put chutney over a block of cream cheese with crackers for a jiffy party treat.
They look really good!
I know. Don’t be envious though. The price of this excitement was $15. Not everyone can be a big spender.
talking of Waitrose..look what I came across the other day... this was the original Waitrose... shop in Acton 1904.. Wallace Waite /Arthur Rose/David TaylorIt is a Waitrose product, they sell quite a few different ones. The Apple and Pear one is really nice.

Funny how that happens, you buy something and it runs away to the kid's house!Plastic bladed grain-scoop shovel. These fit nicely in the back of the car for winter, and I use them for snow in general. They also work great as a sort of "standing dust pan" along with a rake for picking up piled leaves to dump them into bins and bags.
I'd bought one last year but it ended up living at my son's house. My old one is heavily taped up with crack repairs since sunlight made it brittle. The cracking comes from using the shovel to tamp down loads of leaves. It still works for now but you can't buy replacement blades cheaper than a whole new shovel.
