Fortunately, our Costco and Winco are both located in the same parking lot. Distanced from each other, of course. How 'bout you?Costco and Winco... That's we do the bulk of our shopping. Unfortunately what was about three miles full circle in Eureka is now almost 30 miles here.
Nicely done!!!Coffee. One store had a good price for my usual brand but they don’t carry the type I like. All the stores do price matching, though they have limits. Went to one store on Monday, picked up two. Next store on Tuesday for 4 and the third for another 4. Saved about $40. Sale ends today.
I was at one time, but got bored with them around #16. Thanks for thinking of me though!@StarSong Are you the Janet Evanovich/Stephanie Plum fan? When I finish this next book, I'll have five that I've finished. It'll take a few days to finish because my eyes get wonky when I read too long.
???Somehow I knew in my heart they were going to attack coffee and chocolate, those dirty rats!
as per earlier posts...scroll up
I have a different brand and love it. I found that using smaller pieces makes a difference, especially for hard things like carrots. When I have it out, I prep several items to store. Although it’s a bit of a pain to wash up, I find it worth it.I got this for my soups. Having a hard time with my right hand/wrist so chopping is laborious and risky. This should serve well for most veggies. (OxO)

@katlupe, lately I've had the urge to buy one of those adult coloring books and a set of coloring pencils. I read it helps reduce stress. Do you enjoy as a craft? An adult coloring book, Underwater Wonders.
I only just discovered recently that Kirkland coffee is made by StarbucksGood to know, and not a moment too soon!
I dropped $240 at Costco yesterday:
$29 on gas (I was only down half a tank, but filled it since I was there anyway.)
$86 on miscellaneous non-foods
$125 on food - mostly frozen and non-perishable. .
People are talking about the price of eggs, and I get that, but wow has coffee gone up! Kirkland Decaf 3 lbs that cost $10.99 in 2020-ish is now $17.89.
Climate change is the root of the problem. So many coffee plantations are dealing with droughts or floods, and this is only likely to worsen over time.![]()
p.s. I didn't need any, but noticed Costco was completely sold out of eggs (this was about an hour after opening time, so unlikely they had many - if any - to start the day.
I've been seeing this contraption around a lot lately. Very tempting, but I wonder how much strength you need to push down on that handle, repeatedly???At Walmart I got 4 bags of frozen vegetables, milk, some little brownie bits but forgot the bleach.

I am addicted to it! It relaxes me. I live in a senior housing apartment building and many of my neighbors do it also.@katlupe, lately I've had the urge to buy one of those adult coloring books and a set of coloring pencils. I read it helps reduce stress. Do you enjoy as a craft?
Sometimes I have a hard time pushing down the handle if the piece is too large. I slammed it really hard with my left hand once and my watch asked if I had a hard fall.I've been seeing this contraption around a lot lately. But, I really don't mind all the chopping by hand either.![]()
I feel your pain! We needed a new Geothermal. Check if you can use it on taxes.I had to order a new thermostat which will cost somewhere in the range of $1300-$1500 including tax and installation.
Oh wow, Leann...ouch!I had to order a new thermostat which will cost somewhere in the range of $1300-$1500 including tax and installation.
OXO is a reliably good brand. It's so nice to find gadgets that make life a little easier. At Walmart I got 4 bags of frozen vegetables, milk, some little brownie bits but forgot the bleach.
