yes but even B&Q, for example are selling most things online rather than in store.I know what you mean - the loss of Wilko and of Clas Ohlson before it was a real annoyance. Those stores sold things you might need any time, and were in town centres, so no need to drive out of town (not that I drive anyway).
I needed a simple outdoor broom.. saw that they had it in store on their website....so I delberately drove to a larger branch in St Albans rather than a local store.. only to be told when I got there that they don't stok it in store, that I nneeded to order it online. I told them that it clearly said on their webbsite that they had it in store
the kiddie customer service female patronised me by talking to me like I was a child, and explaining how buying something online worked... she got both barrells from me !...
