What have you bought recently?

...and this the other day...

Wow! I like that a LOT! Did you buy it on Amazon?

Got three new solar LED windchimes on Amazon prime days. One is to replace the watering can with cascading lights that I killed last year. Well, not exactly killed but on life support until just two months ago. I'll be more careful with the new one. They're supposed to be here today, and I'm so excited. It's the little things...:)

They look like these

I am posting my purchases a day early while I still have my sanity and can speak without swearing.

The screw that recently went through a car tire and the tire got plugged, has cost me two new front tires. I could probably get by with one tire, but I do not like driving on odd tires from one side to the other. I’m OK with front to back. I also do not like driving a tire with a plug in it. It may last forever but the roads I drive on and at my age, I’m not risking it. That will be $225.

Another approximately $275 will be at tractor supply for dog feed, birdseed, and 2-3 50# bags of specialized horse feed for my 30-year-old Dutch Warmblood.

sometime this month, I need to pay the homeowners insurance which has close to tripled in 22 years and I have never had any claims. I am thrilled to pieces (NOT) to be paying out all this money for other people‘s phony or legitimate claims. Even my insurance agent said she has let six people go because she’s sick to death with their phony claims they turn in.

almost forgot. Both of my four wheelers are leaking gas so they’re not usable. I’m pretty sure I know what’s wrong with both of them and it’s not a cheap fix on either one.

yes, I know I could sell this farm. Put the horse to sleep ahead of his time, and move to some stupid apartment. But then what would I do with my time and what would I have to complain about except that I would hate being imprisoned in an apartment, which is how I have always viewed apartment living.

I would rather be broke keeping equipment running, than live in town.

The JD is still leaking axel fluid, but it’s on the battery tender and will start. I can use it for barn work, if I have to, as long as I keep checking the fluids.

Wah wah wah😇😂😇😂

My walking shoes arrived a couple days ago. All I have to do is unpack and them and put some pretty laces in. And I'm sure I'll get to that at some point...

The shoes I'm walking in are dead; they have holes in the bottom and tears on the sides. They're dead, already. I should let them go.
One evening at the dinner table when DS2 was about 14 or 15, I told him that his sneakers were looking pretty shabby and that after the kitchen was cleaned up, we were going to buy him some new ones. He asked, "Why is it that when your shoes look and feel just right, some grown-up comes along and says you have to have new ones?" LOL

I have a new pair of shoes are in the pipeline. Colin Johnson is a highly talented cordwainer. He is currently making me a pair of "Spectator" style shoes in light blue and white, with the toe cap leather perforated into a pattern. When they arrive, I will show you Colin's skills.

Sir, your Colin Johnson shoes are a very long way from my modest little walking shoes. ;)

Maybe that's what it is with my beat-up little walking shoes; they're all broken in. ;)

I bought bathing suits from Amazon, four of them. 😯😦😧😲 They'll be here today. I've never bought suits online before. We'll see how that goes. 🙄🥴 Please pray for me. 🙏
I hope it goes as well for you as it has for me. I bought a Yonique brand bathing suit a couple of years ago on AZ and LOVED it so much I waited for it to go on sale again and bought two more in different patterns. Full support bra top, boy shorts and a coordinating loose tank top that doesn't float up in the water.

I wear all three pieces, even in my own pool. Despite being in pretty good shape and a weight in the low end of a healthy BMI, I'm well past the age of publicly baring my stomach or wearing high cut bikini bottoms. (I love the boy short look.)
