What have you bought recently?

It's just the right coat with a wide lapel suit, pin striped and with the wide trouser hems turned up. The hat and shoes complete that old fashioned look that Holly said, of her father.

No HC..lol.. he wasn't dressed that old fashioned.. in 40's style.. ... but he was not fashinable.. he wore just flannels and polo short or shirt and tie... when we in the late 60's and 70's wanted him to wear bell bottoms, and matching floral shirt & tie ...or ben sherman shirt... and Jeans...lol...

I don't think he ever owned a pair of jeans right to his dying day... ..lol..I'm laughng already because I know your opinion on jeans... :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Flannels are great although I don't have any. There's a talented seamstress who can make impeccable trousers, in a timeless style, that I know, she is truly a gifted artisan, my bulging wardrobe is testimony to that.
Does my dislike of denim label me a snob? Denim has gained prominence as durable utilitarian clothing, much loved by those who prefer a leather jacket rather than a more formal appearance. Despite it's popularity, it still looks like traditional workwear and overalls.
