What if extraterrestrials live among us?

Many Evenings the Star Trek Series' are playing here on TV. I consider it Comedy! Ha ha To Go where no one has gone before, to seek out new life (to tax cause the IRS is riding with us) The Federation U know (no money or personal belongings) Thats the 3rd phase of money. Peace to all, that sort of stuff. Despots will nuke the world before giving up their control on Peoples lives. Its all just another form of Slavery. In other words imagine a world of Slavery ! Everyone chipped at birth. Yep, an alien telling you what ya got ta do.

For some reason I still mourn the passenger pigeon! How can anyone wipe out millions of birds? It boggles the mind! And that's just one example!
 
It's a wonder Science hasn't cloned them, maybe they did and the Birds didn't like it? Imagine the Life, messages tied to ya and ya flying between two cages the rest of it.

I find it sad that 83% of our species have become extent. I’m sure it’s not all due to us but I think most is. Hunting for food is one thing but those trophy hunters who do it just to show off, I find cruel & disgusting. We are, by far, the most dangerous animal on earth. Our world will do much better when we become extinct. I know I’m being a Debbie downer but I love animals more than humans.
 
I like Hog to, just not growing up raising them. Maybe the same about raising bunny rabbits. Haha
Some live sheltered from the actual facts of life. We are the top Predators. What's wrong with us?
We are the Aliens here on earth. The crazies part is now the Government is trying to prove Aliens visit. Haha
Maybe we will eventually lose to a virus, most likely one our science creates. Now thas alien crap. So far
our forbearers were able to figure stuff out, clean water, clean sewers, cleanliness, steaming hot towels
that sort of stuff. Sure Aliens will come to help! haha

I wouldn't say that I love animals more than humans but I second your sentiment. I switched to free range eggs ever since I watched the factory farming of chickens. And the way they were cramped into their cages laying their eggs! Sickening! And that's not the only cruelty shown to animals, the brutal examples of abuse are everywhere! I believe that most of them are sentient to a certain degree! The aboriginals had it right when they thanked each animal for giving its life in order to nourish us. We are simply too casual about the slaughter. I know that with billions of humans now occupying the earth that mass slaughter is necessary, I just wish we'd find other foods instead. And, sadly, no I am an omnivore! And therefore being hypocritical! But still wishing there were a more humane way. Please find a vegetarian food that tastes as good as a filet mignon!
 
Watching animals all my life I know they reason, they just don't talk back at us although let the lil birdies get hungry with MT feeders and you will wake up early every morning to their griping. Females miss their young, the young miss their other young. That sort of thing. They most likely forget too. Survival is the primal instinct. Raise them from babies, they gain trust and will always come to you even if very rugged individually.
Or they might not. They do love freedom as we do when safe. My wife had a Squirrel when she was a kid, Buddy was a real character to know.
We had a horse, Star, She would winter with the Cattle Cows out around the Timber. In the Spring she would not come in and my dad would chase her in a pickup. She would come with the Cows just not into the spring cattle yard with the Calves. The fun thing is she would always run up to me with a slice of an apple in my hand. I rode her and treats! My secrete. Haha

During my Navy days we visited a local abbatoir! The smell of blood, the panic of the cattle, was sickening, even though they were humanely slaughtered. A bolt to the head and it was all over. But it left quite the impression! I couldn't eat meat for weeks after that because the taste of blood lingered! People, with our population now reaching 8 billion, surely some scientists can take their minds off creating ever more destructive weapons and find plant based alternatives to meat! The present substitutes are not quite good enough yet!

P.S. Sorry about that! I keep forgetting that the subject was aliens!

I love a good leafy Salad, Tomatoes, Onion slices Cheese gratted and Ranch / blue cheese dressings. 3 days a week and a great Southwest Chicken salad with Chipolte for the 4th day. Unfortunately, my Wife likes to cook too. so I enjoy and constantly remind her of my loves. Haha
Part of my Carrier was servicing equipment in a Cattle Slaughter & watching the Hides go down a Canal, very smelly stuff. Trucks being loaded with frozen 1/2 beefs that sort of stuff. Fortunately, it was not my career choice. But mind blowing. It just seemed Alien. haha
Maybe one day we will have the food makers Star Trek has using outer dimensionally created stuff to recreate yummy. Our lake pumps water 40 miles to a Hog Slaughter to keep the place clean and the water drainage serviceable. Fortunately, they now have created their own lake also.

Tough question, assuming carbon based life forms they probably eat some kind of organic material, like we do. But I'd imagine there are lots of possibilities I have never thought of.

No, we are not able to hybridize with our closest primate relatives, no way could we with aliens. However there is a credible theory that life here may have evolved from space dust carbon, or the like. Including DNA, so we may carry some descendants of that. Yes. Chicken farms are seriously horrid things. I’ve also had the opportunity to visit a few of them myself and it’s depressing knowing that this is what we do to the animals we eat. Recently I did a report on how animals are raised and killed and how many per year and it’s a staggering reality. Truly horrific! It certainly IS MASS slaughtering. If I didn’t live with my meat loving husband, I’d probably be vegetarian or at minimum a fish only consumer. Anyway, I can’t talk about this any more, since I find it so depressing.
It’s good to know there are others who feel the same way though. Most people don’t care at all.

Most likely if you have fixed a chicken, you have noticed a broken leg occasionally, reasons breeding to fast grow. They didn't come from Outer Space with density bone loss. The modern Chicken Leg say in a frozen bag or from KFC is around Half the size of our farm Chickens I grew up with. They hatched very early spring, survived under heat lamps, the pullets for eggs and the Roosters for dinner. Late fall/early winter harvest would begin of those roosters for Sunday dinners and the old hens not laying then for stews. Eating a good diet was not a problem then. One can easily buy the full size chicken leg, just not from fast foods. Yep, its animal cruelty in my thoughts. Not to let an animal live a decent life before eating it.
We are our alien worst nightmare also. We got plenty of Alien stuff going on within us.

I saw a video recently where they said that chicken are bred to gain weight quickly (especially in breast size) so they can get them to market earlier! No wonder we always complain about chicken not being as tasty as yesteryear! They don't give them time to grow at a natural rate!
 
They got in lots of trouble over anti biotics in chicken meat also. not many chickens from fast foods eaten here. Bread to be hyper growers, a 3 month old slaughter most likely. Anyone want to vote for alien extermination? .... :ROFLMAO: Hope Kim's push of the button does it!.:alien:. As a Horrific Alien to Earth species have we surpassed a 1000 trillion young animals slaughtered yet? ugh! ...:sneaky: sure there are the 100,000's tons of fish, Crab, Shrimp, Lobster etc. They are gluttons for punishment, are they? We older people would happily do that, but I think our young folks might have a different opinion on the subject! They'd rather live a bit longer and forget about giving the planet away to more sensible creatures!
 
Don't you think it's strange? All of us want peace, yet throughout our violent history we keep electing leaders that invariably lead us into brutal, bloody wars? And we cheer them on because it's a justified conflict after all, so millions of dead and wounded is an acceptable price to pay.

Prominent politicians (not the run-of-the-mill type, they're harmless and mostly useless) but the ones floating to the top) are hand-picked by aliens!

Or worse yet, they might be aliens themselves! If you keep your eyes and ears open for the few who are completely free of alien influence just look and listen carefully. If they are "us" they will always tell the truth! If they are alien influenced (or alien) they will lie! A guaranteed sure fire method of finding out who's who or what!

I’ve never cheered on violent wars. They might be a reality of our earthy existence but I never support violence.
