@oldaunt is right. The smaller towns really take the brunt because they don't have the resources to deal with the criminal activity.

Many have called for our borders to be closed & the illegals removed to their point of origin, but the government isn't doing anything about it. Many are living with the crime from the illegals who are breaking the law in all size towns. Just tonight on the news, law-abiding residents in Chicago have told the city council they've had enough & if the city won't do anything, they will. I guess we will see what happens there.

But we are digressing into a topic for another thread.

My problem: when I thought of illegal immigrants, in my mind I saw women clutching children, trying to escape from the gang related horrors in their home countries! I never even thought of young criminals breaching your borders and causing fear so far from them!

And in our case, since Mexicans and Asians were singled out in the original post (I think illegal might have been mentioned but am not sure now), I was deeply disturbed by that manifestation of blatant racism in Canada. I should know better but I keep hoping that WE might become a light unto the nations where others are failing! A cynic one moment, an idealist the next! Talk about split personalities!

Where I lived Mexicans were hired seasonally to help with Christmas tree farming. We had a lot of Christmas tree farms where we used to live. When talking to some of the owners of these farms, they say the Mexicans they hire are the largest working, most loyal and respectful workers they’ve ever had. In fact, many say it’s too bad Canada has such good unemployment benefits since so many Canadians would rather collect than work.IMG_0603.jpegIMG_0593.jpeg

Guys it's easy to make a square out of a balloon. Also a Sausage, Dinner dish plate etc.

The supposedly Sightings have a very poor-quality pictures-videos. The AF blurry gun cameras. Heck in ww 11 the gun cameras had great videos.
Its a hoax. Sure there are atmospheric phenomena that are optical illusions. There would be tons of spy satellite proof/Hubble pictures. If an extraterrestrial race were to approach Earth they could watch all the TV they wanted, listen to the DJ on local KRPT etc. No reason to stop. We are nutz and they would know it. It they wanted refuel they would stop off at a moon or Asteroid an devour it. Plenty of water easy to obtain on a moon or ice chunk. No reason to actually come to the inner solar system Voyager would tell them all they would need to know. If they could travel 1000's of light years they wouldn't be lonely, tired, dirty or poor. If there are wondering Worm Holes one would most likely be 100's of light years away and the Earth would only be near one for a short time in its Orbit with the Sol around the Galaxy. They would report with their Dangly thingy's that Earth's nutz. Why would they want to venture so far out of the Milky Way when there are Billions of Stars much closer together in the more inner areas? Its like billiards in there. Say the Aliens resemble large bugs they most likely would love the Cosmic Radiation of the inner Galaxy. Would get thirsty for it way the heck out in "lonely woods hole" of space here. Good Authors of Sci-Fi make great livings dreaming the crap up. I enjoy the Comedy of it all.

I believe the only alien not born on earth to ever come here was Jesus Christ. His great powers were far superior to that of any human. The human response was CRUCIFIXION!!! If we get another one, we will do the same thing to Him.
 
Jesus was born in a Stable, spent his first days in a manger licked by a burro on a hia arss. Haha.
Grew up, became a Carpenter then decided a higher calling was needed. Began his ministry and was
treated as a threat by The Religious leaders. Rode in on a Donkey and rode out on one. Haha
He didn't have a chance while he was alive. Proving it's hard to change Mother Nature.
An army of angles should have arrived to help him. Do they party eternal, immortal life. most likely.
One can sorta get the let's create a sticky wicket and see what happens in the Bowl. During the
Immortals party time. I'm betting the lord and his Hot Hottie Holy Spirits have been entertained.
Even with knowing it all, seeing it all, variation on the theme is amusing, enlightening, a different twist
of Stuff, begging an end / beginning, a change on the plate of boredom.

That would be the ones here on work visas, making them legal to hire. Otherwise its a criminal act to hire an illegal.
 
Do they still have to go back home to re-apply for a Green Card? We raised tomatoes when I was young and hired them from Texas where they lived during the off season. They also topped the Sugar Beets. Machinery replace them though they still work in the Fields growing Horse Radish I believe. Mostly though the Landscapers are the way many work. They would say Texas was like having the ELMO guy watching you all the time.

This is most definitely legal work. Most of these workers had been doing it for years. There’s nothing under the table about this. The lads were always professional, friendly and respectful whenever I encountered them. This was a huge Christmas tree franchise. They needed these workers as much as the workers needed the job and they were treated very well.

Nice folks. It’s a shame that Mexicans are so often stereotyped when depicted in movies.

Yes, our seasonal workers are here legally! They are wonderful people and great representatives of their nation! So are our Philipina health workers! That's why the casual reference (in another post) that Canada was being ruined by Mexicans and Asians stuck in my craw!

Or on second thought, maybe we remember history too well and are afraid that someone else might become powerful enough to treat us the same way!
 
Australia is full of wonders. Unfortunately? I wouldn't be surprised if Kim didn't sent Australia a threat to. Thas alien nuff.

I do get it. The ones who are legal are usually good honest folks, and yes I do know some that I worked with and a neighbor I used to have.
 
I strayed too much from the subject. I think that if UFOs are real they are mechanical devices only. Aliens by proxy! No advanced civilization would endure year upon year of travel just to sit and observe! Unless they discovered that worm holes are real? Or maybe they are immortals to whom a thousand years are like a day?
 
The passage of time is actually always up to the observer sitting there bored as hell only wanting to go to a bar and have a good time Friday / Saturday is my belief.
