What if there was time travel, where would you like to visit?

Personally I would love to visit the 1920s for a bit. But I am looking forward to other ideas.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but my Dad passed away when I was 19 years old. Now that I'm older with more life experiences under my belt, I wish I could go back in time and have a nice talk with him.. :)

Yep I agree with you all..go back in time, and spend time with my mother, and also back to when I could work without pain!!

However..despite maybe opting to take a time travel trip to Victorian England or back to the middle ages..or when Jesus was alive...and without being too maudlin'... my mother was raised in a hell orphanage by evil nuns.. she only ever spoke of their cruelty on a couple of occasions, but due to their vile nature, she was raised not knowing how to give or receive love, or be a mother really.. so I would love to go back to when she was little and grab her out of there and put her with a loving family, so she could have been raised knowing how to be a loving person, and not settle for an abusive husband and father to her children , and she may not have taken her own life at just 39 years old!!

I have heard several stories about evil nuns & priests in orphanages over the years. Today I hope the fear of exposure has toned it way down, if not ended it?

Back in your mothers day, nuns priests , teachers, etc. Were the absolute authorities , and kids dare not question them & or complain.

First, I'd go back to the times of all the bible stories we learned as kids to see if any of them happened even remotely close to how they were described. Then, I'd go back to the time when I was five years old to drop by my old neighborhood and see my family, again. After that, I'd go back to the time when dinosaurs ruled the Earth.

I would like to go back to see exactly how all those huge stones were moved in places like Stonehenge, the pyramids (Egypt and north/south america), the huge stone statues on Easter Island. I would like to how they were carved, how the were transported, how they were built that long ago, how long it took. Otherwise, I would like to back into the histories of some of my relatives to see what happened to make them so mean. I would really like to hang out with my paternal great grandfather. I only got to see him twice (he lived a long ways away) but we clicked and I really liked him. He died when I was about 14.

I'd like to go back to the 50's in the summertime. No school, enjoying having fun with my friends and being with my family who are no longer here. The idea of being a pioneer women also intrigues me, helping clear a piece of land, building a cabin, putting in crops, tending to my garden and canning for the winter months. Truth be told, I doubt I could hack it.

It's very true RGP ...they were evil, and only now is it coming to light just how evil those nuns were. In fact just today there's yet another story in the media of the cruelty of nuns in an orphanage, many years ago but much later than my mums' time, so it went on for decades undetected.. ..

However I mustn't derail this topic...

Everytime I see posts by folks that want to go back in time I think of how good the medical treatments are today versus back in time especially getting wisdom teeth pulled. No thanks. If anything I would go to 1,000 years in the future to see what we have learned about the creation of the universe and life elsewhere.

I would like to visit several places around the world in the years between WWI and WWII.

I would also make a stop in my grandmother's kitchen or front porch during the early 60's.

1st. I'd want to take along my fully charged Apple iPhone 8 Plus. Go back to when our earth began and take incremental steps in time to document how the earth was populated. A record with video & sound to be able to prove once and for all what took place.

The report, published in the latest edition of the Astrophysical Journal, argues that the bursts – which shine more brightly than a million trillion times the output of our own sun – contain what are referred to as time-reversed light signatures – meaning, in effect, that they actually travel backwards in time.
Researchers admit they have no idea what is causing this process. The study’s lead author, Jon Hakkila, an astrophysicist and associate dean of the Graduate School at the College of Charleston in South Carolina, said: "Gamma-ray bursts were the most luminous sources know in nature, producing more energy than untying else which emits light. He explained that gamma-ray bursts are ejected when two neutron stars collide, forming a black hole in the process.

Recent science studies theorize Quazar bursts actually reverse time. This conflicts the Grandfather Paradox which says you can't reverse time because if you did you could travel back and kill your grandfather when he was boy so your dad will never be born. Mucho coolo.
