Tucker has yet to poop on the floor or chew up shoes or slippers.
I know people say to be happy "now" but I also can't help believing that next year is going to be happier for me. I will at last have a regular income, although low SS retirement, it is still enough for me. I have learned to live without the "wants", and enjoy just being able to have my needs. In coming to terms with that, I find I am being gifted with even, enough to have some of my wantswhich are not many. I will enjoy being able to meet ladies for tea, or bring a present to a birthday party, something I actually can afford to either make, or buy
I will enjoy having my oil changed when it needs to be, I will enjoy having a bit of gas to just, take a simple drive to shoot photos

I know some folks have a lot, and are happy with their things, I'm glad I can be happy without. But about the dusting, you are so "right-on" that is my least fave thing to do, LOL! Couple things I have that I'm so grateful for, are my nice tv, good computer, and a truck that just keeps on tickin, lol
Your peaceful place sounds wonderful tooI know there are lots of those out there, and the best way to find one is find someone that lives there. I did, and right here on the West coast, so I am checking it out. I am glad for them living on the West Coast because I will be able to afford getting there, LOL
