What is good about your life?

I have a wonderful family, home and neighbourhood. I enjoy my hobbies particularly my digital art and creating pictures for people, which make them happy. :)

I have a nice place to live, a son and daughter and grandchildren, a perfectly good cat, clients that I like and work that I enjoy doing, and a perfectly good cat. And lots of cyber friends.

A happy family, a paid for roof over my head, adequate finances, debt free, the best doggie in the world,
excellent health, pain and pill free and a gorgeous housemate. For what more could anyone ask?

A perfectly good cat, Falcon! Did I mention that I have a perfectly good cat?

I have a perfectly good cat. A tuxedo cat. Tucker. He always wears his best bib and tucker.

OK Georgia So you've got a cat. BFD Does your cat bark @ strange noises, patrol the premises, pee on fire hydrants, and gobble up everything in its food bowl?

In spite of myself, I have a couple of friends of more than a quarter to near half century, I have a roof over my head, my bills are paid. Having said that, my life would be much better if my siblings were here on earth; then I would feel like life is worth living. Overall, I'm thankful for the good I do have.

Falcon, my perfectly good cat howls at strange noises, races back and forth from the kitchen window to the door if there's something or someone outside that he doesn't recognize, he's too classy to pee on fire hydrants right out in public where everybody can see him, he gobbles up his wet food every morning and grazes at dry food in his other bowl. He also helps around the place by leaving cat hair for me to vacuum, and he snuggles up to me a purrs. I bet your dog can't purr.

I have my health, married to a loving man for almost forty years, live in a beautiful scenic state, and have the company of my sweet furkids, a cat and a dog. Overall, more positive than negative in my life.

I have a loving sister that has given me a home since I lost my, little rental back home. I have health insurance so I can get my heart fixed, I have an opportunity, thanks to friends on this site, to live in a beautiful area that is loaded with retired seniors, and affordable housing. I'm most grateful right now for the internet, and the chance to visit with all kinds of people:)

Good question justme.. :)

I have a wonderful daughter. I have a nice home in a lovely rural area in the sunniest part of the UK.

I have a job that pays enough. My health is fairly good (knock on wood)

I have 9 grandfurkids who I adore and who adore me back. :)

I am healthy... I have a great job that I can continue at for a few more years.. I have a wonderful hubby who is kind and thoughtful and who I know I can always count on. We are comfortable... not wealthy, but comfortable, and don't have to worry about bills or extras..

I have a husband that is the kindest man ever.
I have four funny fur kids that always think I need to laugh.
We have a nice large log cabin that has been paid off for at least fifteen years.
I have all of you wonderful people to help occupy my time and mind.
And, I have the hope that next year will be happier.

I know people say to be happy "now" but I also can't help believing that next year is going to be happier for me. I will at last have a regular income, although low SS retirement, it is still enough for me. I have learned to live without the "wants", and enjoy just being able to have my needs. In coming to terms with that, I find I am being gifted with even, enough to have some of my wants:) which are not many. I will enjoy being able to meet ladies for tea, or bring a present to a birthday party, something I actually can afford to either make, or buy:) I will enjoy having my oil changed when it needs to be, I will enjoy having a bit of gas to just, take a simple drive to shoot photos:)

Ina, I'm positively green with envy. I've always said that if I had my druthers, I'd live in a log cabin a half a tank of gas away from town. I'd go to town once a week to forage for food and lay in supplies and collect my mail. Then I'd fill up my gas tank and drive back home again. Heaven!

Tucker has yet to poop on the floor or chew up shoes or slippers.

I can relate to that Georgia. I have two dogs who speak some other language that they refuse to teach me so I have an impossible time figuring out when they need to go outside, but the cat never pees or poops on the floor. He's such a good cat. Yesterday, I advised one of the dogs, never again!

For some reason that I fail to understand, chihuahuas are 'impossible' to housetrain really. If you happen to be looking when they need to go, great, if not, there's always the laundry room! Aargh! I think it has something to do with being invisible behind a cushion on the floor....until it's too late and then you find the tiny puddle they silently left, with your big toe.

Denise, all those folks who have enough money to buy their 'wants' always wind up with far more junk to dust than you. The silver lining right?

As for what's good in my life, my husband, the wonderful daughters that I have and the grandkids and I live in a really peaceful place.

I know some folks have a lot, and are happy with their things, I'm glad I can be happy without. But about the dusting, you are so "right-on" that is my least fave thing to do, LOL! Couple things I have that I'm so grateful for, are my nice tv, good computer, and a truck that just keeps on tickin, lol;)

Your peaceful place sounds wonderful too:) I know there are lots of those out there, and the best way to find one is find someone that lives there. I did, and right here on the West coast, so I am checking it out. I am glad for them living on the West Coast because I will be able to afford getting there, LOL:)

Where on the West Coast are you thinking of heading if you don't mind my asking?

I'm on the Oregon Coast now, I was born and raised here, and I am way ready for a change, if it all works out. I am looking at Northern CA. I know a neat couple that live there so I am getting first-hand info on the area;)

My remodled house that I couldn't afford. A good hubby, wonderful kids and grandkids for the most part, My car though old runs. I have food on the table and shoes on my feet. I am just beginning to discover how to love myself. And of course the wonderful people on this site, and my friends who live close by.

A good martini as the sun goes down...
