You may call me EM š
OR maybe even two or three habits you would like to break?
Yepā¦.I would be scared to change our numbersBuying lottery tickets. Been playing the same numbers for about 35 years now.....it's voluntary taxation.
I understand, I often feel the same.i love giving .....but i hate receiving ....it embarrasses me ....
so this habit i would like to lose.......
I rarely confront aggravating people, not sure it works. I first try ignoring them, if that doesn't work I just avoid them if possible. The closest I come to confrontation is asking the person questions that help illuminate the situation, sometimes it helps, sometimes not.I hate confrontation so I wish I could call people out when they aggravate me.
I have strategically placed my garbage can right next to the mailbox. 90+% of junk mail never makes it past.Not dealing with junk mail until it overflows.
Consider this--when you receive anything from a compliment to needed help to a gift graciously (smile, sincere 'thank you' or 'I appreciate this') you are giving the other person the same good feeling you get from giving.i love giving .....but i hate receiving ....it embarrasses me ....

We don't have home delivery just PO Box. But most of our junk mail goes in paper recycle box. (except anything with info that might help hackers or ID thieves)I have strategically placed my garbage can right next to the mailbox. 90+% of junk mail never makes it past.
Suspect this is a habit others would like me to break myself.Telling every assumed detail in answer to a question from others, No 'KILL' switch installed, don't know when enough is enough.

Took me a while too!charry said:

@feywon
It took me awhile to learn to receive graciously, and realize that the giver deserves to feel appreciation for
their kind efforts.
I haven't smoked in 20+ years, but there are times I'd like to take that one long drag, which fills your lungs-especially after dinner.I wish I could break my desire to smoke cigarettes. Tired of thinking about it.
