What is the world's worst song ever?

The worst song in my opinion is the title melody of the movie "Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel" (US title: "Three Wishes for Cinderella").
The co-production of the former Czechoslovakia and the German Democratic Republic is from 1973, and the movie was aired on every Christmas in the GDR and after the reunion in Germany on all stations.

Even much worse is the version of the German singer "Ella Endlich" because of the text. It culminates in "Küss mich, halt mich, lieb mich, für immer küss mich, halt mich, lieb mich" ("Kiss me, hold me, love me, forever kiss me, hold me, love me"). Arghh.

The song starts at 0:51.

Hahaha. Not much substance, but pretty face & voice. Hopefully she did some other material that was better! :)

My vote would go to:
I've Got Tears in My Ears from Lying on My Back in My Bed While I Cry Over You

My vote for second place might surprise you, but it would go to The Star Spangled Banner. I hate the fact that that awful song is our national anthem. No one can sing it, even great singers can't make it sound good, no one knows all the words, and there's nothing inspiring about it, musically or otherwise. With so many beautiful songs out there, it must have been a tone deaf Congress that decided on this one. Or a political decision.

Yes, I was also curious, so I checked too, and It seems to be a rather notable song. This band associated with Paul McCartney. The bagpipes are beautiful.
I move more toward slow music anyway. Not all of them. I like a good upbeat tempo too, but it has to be the right kind.

I found the same , and I as well like the bagpipes , always have.

I also like the Moody-Blues . Not surprised that, that guy played with them.
