What one thing do you miss doing in the summer that you did at a younger age?

Walking down the boardwalk at the beach eating the likes of salt water taffy, or "boardwalk fries"(salty and greasy in those big cups), frozen custard (you know you want it), snow cones, cotton candy, candy apples, fried funnel cakes, and corn dogs…and never asking if they had a list of nutrition facts you could see first or giving any thought to calories, processed foods, nutrition, preservatives, GMOs, trans fats, sodium, color dyes, pesticides, etc

I miss being able to do trick dives off the high diving board, walk the balance beam, and walk on my hands. Can still sail, but the strength and agility are reduced. No rigging for this mermaid anymore! Swimming long distances is also passé.

There weren't any GMOs when you were a young slip of a thing and no trans fats during my childhood. Heck I'm so old I was practically paleo before it became a name for a diet.

I miss pool parties at night, listening to rock music on my transistor while getting a tan all afternoon ( it wasn't bad for you back then ), living like a beach bum for the summer, eating fried clams smothered in ketchup. I could go on and on but you get the picture.

This is making me really miss those good 'ol days. :love_heart:
