What side of the bed you sleep on

What made you choose what side of the bed you sleep on?

I got a (similar) army cot, before it was a recliner. Long ago I had a twin, one of my dogs insisted he got room on it. So I was "forced" to sleep on the right.

I sleep in a twin bed, so it’s pretty much both sides.

I chose it because it is easier for me to manage making the bed, doing the laundry, etc… and because I rarely, if ever, need to make room for anyone else.

I'm so beaten down, Hon went on a trip for 2 weeks and I slept at the very side of the bed the whole time...arms draped over...even though I had the whole bed to myself!

I used to sleep on the left side of the bed, then switched to the right. I really don't know why...may be because the ceiling fan hits me better there.

I use my whole bed, start on my back then to my left, during the night I'm on my right. I am a side sleeper
I get out of bed on my right side,been doing it for yrs

If staying anywhere else, I choose the side

The right, like my hand. He is left handed. We tend to choose sides based on this. Now, if the bathroom were closer to the left side, I’d redefine which direction we start from.

Separate beds now and I still stick to the right.

I have a king bed and not married. I guess on some nights, I have flashbacks. It’s not often, but in the morning there’s more bedding on the floor than on the bed. It’s why I don’t have many sleepovers.

Sometimes it's been left or right depending on which side of the room that the bedroom door is on that determines which side I sleep on (now it's the left)...in case of a intruder I want mama furthest away from the door.

Facing the bed? The left side. Why do I sleep there? I dunno, I've just always slept on that side of the bed, even when I was a kid.

The right side, but it's not an idiosyncrasy. It's the layout of the bedroom that accommodates a nightstand on that side, but not the other. To explain why that is the case would require more explanation than I'm wanting to write. I would prefer the left side, which IS an idiosyncrasy and more convenient. So yeah, it's a problem. I should build another house.
