What size is your shoe?

My shoe size is a ten, but I learned what it was in metric, forty-four. Reason being, British Imperial and other English speaking countries, notably the US, tend to vary, but metric stays the same, whatever the country. But when it comes to comfort, you can't beat hand made.

The above shoes all come from a 1920's photograph that I saw and thought, "I've just got to have a pair of those. Three pairs later........

Who's that handsome fellow on the right? :)

i wear a size 8. average width. good arches. can pretty much just pick out by look and size and they work every time. open-back shoes, slip-ons, clog-style... can usually get away with 7.5.

On the shoe box it says nothing about women or male. She bought them from a shoe store and I would think they made sure it's for a woman??? Could the shoes be made for a women or man?
Some shoes are unisex, I suppose. Sneakers, mainly. Size 11 is an unusual size for a woman, so if you find a woman who wears that size it wouldn't surprise me if she bought all of them off you.

I take size 5 UK... = 38 European - 7 US/Canada
