What size shoes do your feet require?

Hi, my name is Bigfoot. Depending on the style of the shoe, I wear either a 10 or a 10 1/2. The family joke is that I should leave the shoes at the store and just wear the boxes...
@Autumn Thank goodness a fellow 'big footer' and yes I've lost count of how many times
I've been told I should wear the boxes not the shoes :cautious:

My walking shoes are New Balance 11B
I can never find winter boots in my size, instead I wear men's 9 1/2 fit perfectly
@moviequeen1 I often find men's shoes fit better and are wider
I am tall and would look very strange (or stranger) if my feet were smaller
No glass slipper for me I'm afraid....except maybe this one ;)

How tall are the women who wear size 7 1/2 to 8?

And is your foot the same size as the space between your inner elbow and your wrist?

I’m curious more than anything.

Keesha I think you are on to something! ;)

Your foot size is usually adequate for your height. I'm sure it's not exact, but a 6 ft 4 in guy might fall over if his feet are only size 7.

Exactly RadishRose, some very large and tall people have tiny feet, while small framed short people have huge sized feet. Feet and
shoes have always been interesting to me. This week a friend of mine who is close to 6feet 3inches bought a pair of work boots for
his job. Oddly I always thought he might have huge feet but when he showed me the pair of boots he purchased they were size 8
only which is on the smaller shoe size.

Ooh interesting @AmberTea. I listen to the radio at night and I think I might have 5 - 5 1/2 hours sleep at night. Do you read cards !!!!:giggle::giggle:

that made me chuckle just now, many years ago when I was in my 30's, and at a fun upbeat picnic I was called upon (for just fun only) to pretend I read cards, so I accepted the request and we had so much fun, the stuff I made up was entertaining, or so it was said.

UK size 3 but I have a wide foot and now a damned bunion  so I do sometimes buy a size 4 if I can't get a wide fitting. Always get a size 4 when buying boots to allow for a nice thick pair of socks in the winter.

Your post about reading cards reminded me of my Mom. When we'd go out for a chinese buffet around the corner, and it came time to read the fortune cookies....she'd always make up some funny stuff while reading. She was good lol

I'm one of those short, kind of slight people with big feet.
