What subjects/topics do you have no interest in?

Oh, I forgot. I suppose I could say I have no interest in watching Doctor Phil. I don't care much for these American TV celebrities. If he is a doctor of some sort, why isn't the joker doing his practice instead of being on TV. He seems to be writing a lot of books which I wouldn't read if you paid me. My late wife used to say that he was "discovered" by Winfrey Oprah. You may or may not know that Oprah's annual salary is $300 million/year and you might by interested to know that her net worth is $3.5 Billion. Think about that the next time you see a bunch of hungry homeless on the streets. "Only in America" they say!

And what about the "good" doctor who helps those that have mental problems. Well, he earns $80 million/year from his TV show. How much does he have socked away. He has a net worth of $460 million. Guess it pays to be a "star" on TV. Top sports people earn "peanuts" compared to these two. No wonder they are smiling.
I agree. Now Dr. Rick (from the Progressive commercials) is all right:

I also read his book:

So funny! (For those who can't access the YouTube vid, it's commercial for Progressive Ins. Co, the gag is that he's a life coach--that's funny right there, amirite?--to help new homeowners not become their parents by acting too "old." ("You got up early this morning. No one cares." šŸ˜„ )

Ha, ha, ha! Well, I read that the late radio host Rush Limbaugh was paid $67 million a year and his talent was the gift of gab. I guess spewing hate is entertaining and enriching. :(

I have no interest in Caesars online sports betting, or whatever the hell they're called. I wish there was a way to filter out their commercials, that are played over and over and over... A lot of lives have been completely ruined from gambling, yet it's treated like it's completely innocuous because, unlike drugs, big corporations are making tons of money from it. It's bad for society.

Plus, I'm a lousy gambler. I might view it differently if I had more luck. :ROFLMAO:

Many of us Americans don't care much for the American TV celebrities either.

I'm not trying to put any one down here but let me tell you when I learned about their wages I certainly was surprised. A brain surgeon says lives but do they make what Oprah makes? I'm not saying that Oprah and Dr. Phil shouldn't be nicely rewarded for their "talents" but come on, it seems to me that their wages are obscene!

People are paid based on market value. For example, Kelly Ripa's salary is $20 million annually for talking/entertaining for one hour, five mornings a week on her show Live with Kelly & Ryan.

In US, the football coach at state colleges is the highest paid state employee. The coach makes more than the college president & professors, more than state judges and more than the governor.

Like brain surgeons, child care center workers are paid market value. It would be nice if the latter was paid better because they have an impact on growing minds for up to 8 hours a day/5 days a week. But the system is the system.

No interest in:

Any royal family.
Modern pop, rap, or whatever you want to call music these days.
Tik-tok, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
Fashion. (You would know that by looking at me).
Most sports except golf and college basketball.
Gender confusion.
Science fiction, fantasy, horror, the supernatural, ESP, astrology, etc.

That still leaves a lot in which to be interested.

Football players and baseball players are way overpaid, too. Oprah, who, from what I read, is a billionaire. And she probably got a big tax cut from the tax cuts passed a few years ago.

The U.S. national debt is going to hit $30 trillion in the near future. I remember when our country being one trillion dollars in debt was shocking.

I have no interest in hearing people brag about how smart they are, or how hard working they are, or how honest they are... It's been my experience that they aren't any of the things they're bragging about. They're usually the worst and are a pain in the butt to work with. Good people don't brag about how good they are.

I'm not interested in anyone telling me we're out of alcohol. If that's the case, go the hell out and buy another bottle, for craps sake. Don't tell me about it. Just do it.

Of course, nobody else in the house other than my dog could possible know that we're out of alcohol since I'm the only one here, and he doesn't have any money.

That said... we're almost out of alcohol.

I'm interested in most things in life except the Kardashians. 🤣 And I do like fashion but reality tv is anything but.

I think everything else does or could interest me. I hate camping though. I know how to do it, I've done it. I will never voluntarily do it again so don't talk to me about it.

Classic rock- hated it then, hate it now.
Most sports, except basketball and surfing.
Celebrities.
Gossip.
So-called reality t.v.- doesn't seem like any real people I've ever known.
Fashion- that is, whatever's "in style" at any point in time.
Facebook.

One area I never thought I would like was teen TV series..in the past few years I discover them and LOVED Dawson's Creek! Also watched and enjoyed Gilmore Girls, the OC, One Tree Hill, and others but I can't think of their titles. I still watch and enjoy the Survivor and Amazing Race (coming 1/5!! yay!!) I also love to watch UTube..esp TED talks and so many other topic overviews. I am still blown away by the easy axis we now have to everything. If we have a question all we have to do is consult google..how cool is that!!
I have yet to use facebook to discuss my interests...

I have a brilliant idea… let’s get these ā€œcelebrity (fill-in-the-blank)ā€ to swap incomes for a year ( heck, for a month!) with a teacher, enlisted military person, nurse, or any other important-but-overlooked profession

No interest in modern day TV shows. Soap operas, dramas, comedies, television evangelists, the KarSHATians ~ all crapola to me.
Romance novels. Just utter puke.
Talk radio.
Right wing pols and those who defend them.
Golf, figure skating, video wars games.
