What subjects/topics do you have no interest in?

I have no interest in......
Being "saved"
"Reality" anything.
"Celebrity" anything
TV business channels and shows.
TV 'talking heads" news shows
Political debates, speeches, etc.
Any of the 810,629 TV cooking shows.
The endless innings of baseball.
The hushed announcers of golf..
All white pro basketball team.
Any Singing contest TV show.
PBS's Downton Abbey
PBS, except for Nova.
Any song after 1980
Any "blank blank" diet
Most of what's posted on Facebook.
499.9 miles of a 500 mile NASCAR race
Poetry
Ski diving
making lists.
 

No interest in; any network TV shows, advertising in any form, celebrities private lives or opinions, politics, any news programs that inject a biased political opinion, in becoming ashamed I was born a Caucasian male, rap music, keeping up with or adapting to current trends, being drug into discussions of any topics of no interest to me.
 

For something to hold my interest, it has to either tell me something I don't already know or make me laugh. That eliminates most everything on TV. I've never been a sports fan. I don't really care whether my city's team beats some other city's team. Maybe that's because I've always been lousy at sports myself.

I feel like reality shows insult my intelligence. They are so obviously scripted.
 
I've also lost interest in the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Vietnam. Those were just colossal blunders by the U.S. and I've already learned everything I need to know about how f*cked up our interventions into those countries were. It's just depressing to watch any more movies about those wars or to learn any more about all the bad decisions that got us into those quagmires.

That said, I'm watching The Darkest Hour this evening about Winston Churchill and England's entry into WWII. I've seen it before, but it's been a few years, so I'll have forgotten most of it. Nobody give away the ending!

**NASCAR, baseball, ice hockey, boxing, tennis and lacrosse.
**Country music
**Religion
**Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, facebook and similar
**Conservative politics
**Cars and trucks. (except for getting me from point A to B, it's boring)
**TV shows and news (only turn on my TV for International football, American football and the NBA)
**Consumerism. (I hate shopping and accumulating material things)

Right! I watched one of those long videos you talked about and it never did get to the "important" part. But at the end of the video, if I paid X amount of dollars I would find out! (Is there an icon for slapping oneself on the side of the head?) 🥴

This thread! No interest at all... Wait a minute, I did read through it and am now responding...

I suspect that we have a hard time making lists like this. It usually ends up being things we wish we had no interest in. The things we really aren't interested in don't come to mind...
 
Oh, I forgot. I suppose I could say I have no interest in watching Doctor Phil. I don't care much for these American TV celebrities. If he is a doctor of some sort, why isn't the joker doing his practice instead of being on TV. He seems to be writing a lot of books which I wouldn't read if you paid me. My late wife used to say that he was "discovered" by Winfrey Oprah. You may or may not know that Oprah's annual salary is $300 million/year and you might by interested to know that her net worth is $3.5 Billion. Think about that the next time you see a bunch of hungry homeless on the streets. "Only in America" they say!

And what about the "good" doctor who helps those that have mental problems. Well, he earns $80 million/year from his TV show. How much does he have socked away. He has a net worth of $460 million. Guess it pays to be a "star" on TV. Top sports people earn "peanuts" compared to these two. No wonder they are smiling.

Most sports for me. They are all overpaid cry babies. They want to think they are heroes. I say go join the Marines, Army, Airforce & then see what a hero is.
