What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

I watched Good Boy last night, thinking it was a horror/thriller, because that is what it is presented as, and it wasn't. It was sad. And not the cathartic let's-have-a-good-hard-cry sad, like Terms of Endearment or Steel Magnolias. It was depressing-sad. Ugh. I will definitely be looking for something lighter to watch next. I wouldn't recommend this one.
I agree about it; I thought it'd be satisfying to watch a good doggie kick some ghost or evil being's butt but you're right: it was just depressing.

Loved that movie!

I saw Bring Her Back the other day; it was good but very gruesome in parts. I hate blood and gore, so that kind of put a damper on it for me. But overall I liked it, though it was a bit dark. Bring Her Back - Wikipedia

If you might be looking for a comedy, one couldn't do better than the 1972 screwball comedy, What's Up, Doc? starring Ryan O'Neal and Barbara Streisand. I've watched it a half dozen times, and it still breaks me up.
It can be watched for free here: What's Up, Doc? 1972

Watched a movie called "Baby Blue" from 2023.

As you know, I watch mainly horror flicks. Even the bad ones. This one wasn't very good, and there's nothing to recommend it.

And I just finished something called "Icefall", from 2025.

Not a horror, but a thriller. Trouble is, this is essentially a re-imagining of Stallone's Cliffhanger from 1993. Stallone's version is much better.
