What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

Watching mid-90's BBC series "Out of the Blue"-- 'gritty' police procedural set in Yorkshire. A much younger Neil Dungeon plays one of the main characters, certainly very different from his character in Midsomer Murders... he's quite edgy and snarky.

The first two John Wick movies. The first was fun and unlike any movie I saw before. At a point in the second the fight scenes got a bit repetitive, maybe boring.

just an update on this... season one was great, the last two episodes being stand-outs in theme, acting and compelling comradery. Watched the first episode of season 2... MEH. Went downhill pretty quickly. I will not finish it =(

But Season one is definitely worth the watch

There’s Something In The Barn is a black horror comedy on Netflix that kind of runs the movie Gremlins through National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. When a clueless and annoying American millennial family inherits a Norwegian farm estate, they discover that it comes with a barn elf that despises change, bright artificial lights, and loud noises. Conflict ensues in a movie that is both funny and horrific with an undercurrent of cultural conflict that even manages to tweak American gun culture!

Recommended, if you like offbeat things, and can stomach a little gore! 🙀

 
I think movies movies nowadays are dumb and poorly executed. Sometimes the actors are so bad it makes me wonder why they are acting in the first place?
 
'The Last Right' delightful little rom/com found either on Prime or TUBI. Happened onto it with no prior knowledge. Colm Meaney & Brian Cox have supporting parts.

The Sailor ... I like Biographical Documentaries I guess.
True story of a man who sailed the world his whole life, filmed in his 80's, with fewer options and a lifetime of memories.
