The Thursday Murder Club, free on Netflix. A good, fun, old-fashioned mystery, and extremely funny and well-acted. Helen Mirren's deadpan delivery was priceless.

I've never been a stickler for a movie sticking closely to a book plot. I just enjoy the characters being seen onscreen, hopefully with actors I like.

I'm assuming that with 4 Thursday Murder Club books to choose from, the movie plot is drawn from one of them so I'll delay watching it. Since it's a Netflix original, it should be available for viewing for the foreseeable future.

I love it and will probably watch it again over the long weekend lol lol. For me, it is one of the very few movies that keeps my eyes wide open through the entire series.

Plus watching it over I pick up things that I missed the first few times

I watched Barbarian last night because Netflix flagged it as leaving soon (it was on my watchlist), and it has a 7+ Rotten Tomatoes rating.

Ugh! I didn't see the appeal, and I don't understand the high audience ratings. It's hard to describe without spoilers, but I found it unorginal and forgettable. I'm going to try to find something else tonight.
