What would you do in this man's position ?

Well, at least he got his phone back, as it switches back to photographing her again. He was acting awfully good-humored when she "stole his phone," which seemed a little hokey to me. I wonder how genuine this whole thing was? It could have been an exercise for an acting class.

This was no acting class.. .. she grabbed his phone while he was filming her, and turned it on him. he was clearly a very even tempered guy and just waited for his chance to grab his phone back..

This is the sort of thing my o/h would do, he's very calm until pushed hard... whereas me ?....😖

Wish the man had stuck the phone in the woman's mouth when he got it back to shut her up.

Well the children, probably watching from the window, learned valuable lessons that day beyond the textbooks of entrepreneurship.

They probably watched as their father taught by example to always be kind and self-controlled, not steeping to her level of physical violence and hatred. They watched their father staying focused on teaching his children to be fine upstanding productive citizen's of our society.

And maybe that's why this happened.

I'm torn. Kids having set up a lemonade stand is great. But bad timing these days of Covid. And the woman, in her concern, actually sounded paranoid when trying to make her point, common sense or not lost.
What's to be torn about?! She took money from his children. Is that supposed to be a solution to her alleged issue with it? Dad did good. He kept his cool, God bless him. She's a nut job and she had no right to do what she did.

So you're saying that the consumer's have no choice but to purchase this frightening lemonade from these children?

It's like forums...members have a choice to join in but some do and then complain the whole time that there even IS a forum like that as if someone twisted their arm to partake.
No I said

Passing along a virus while not intentional could take place.

That and other illnesses that come from unclean/unsanitary food handling.
I would love to go back to the days when kids could do this without a care, but times have changed. Would you buy lemonade from a source you didn't personally have oversight on?

Given the neighborhood in the video does that as a location make selling by " I'll have to guess because the father is white" , little white children safe?

Did you see her take the money? I didn't all I heard was the claim that she stole the money. If there is a time or place in the video where she is seen taking the money please point it out.

She’s totally nuts and a considerable danger to society. If I saw kids doing something I thought was unsafe I’d ask them nicely if their mom or dad were home, then I’d go ring the doorbell and politely express my concerns.

Like most stories this one lacks a lot of background info. How do we know what took place before the video began? How do we know what state this was in & if a permit was required to sell? There are states that require a permit.

People want to feel safe now from unexpected sources of disease. The woman speaking up, identifying herself, & staying there to voice her concerns, seems unpopular on this site. For me a person taking time to show concern for public health in this new era of exotic viruses I opt for caution rather than sentimental remembrances of the good old days.

My friend, yes I have bought lemonade from children's lemonade stands. And I have taken them home and dumped them out if I didn't know them...because I wanted to support the children's business endeavors and pure fun but wasn't thirsty or suspected uncleanliness.

That's what the buyers at this lemonade stand probably did as well if they were smart with covid concerns. If they didn't then that's their fault.

Racism? No. Just no. This has nothing to do with race. Covid?...Yes

Little confused, the woman was talking so fast I could not make sense of it. Whose lemonade stand was it, her child's? How did she take money, that wasn't in the video?

She had the money in her hand and she finally put it back after he asked for the 4th or 5th time. She even said "Fine, I'll put it back."

Well, here's the thing, he was filming and probably aware that if things escalated he would need to use this video in the court of law.
Therefore, he wouldn't have wanted to appear as "provoking her" because that would be an issue when trying to win a case against her.
Well said, and giving the money back does not constitute Withdrawal or Renunciation of the theft, no defense there. Also as you said, grabbing the mans phone was assault and knocking stuff off the table could be vandalism or criminal mischief, depends on the state/local titles offenses.
