Invited Ed for an oriental-type salad: substituted seared salmon for chicken and topped spring mix with raw sugar snap peas, mandarin oranges and slivered almonds. Will drizzle with ginger-citrus dressing and there will be after lunch Marsala chai on this rainy Friday

Had planned to cook a chuck roast in the crock pot today, but realized I did not have all the stuff I wanted to add to the roasst. Went to the store to get stuff today and will start it in the morning.

I have been craving a good roast as well. I have been out of that cut in the freezer for a while. One of my local stores is having a good sale on roast, chicken breasts and bacon. Plan on going tomorrow to do a restock on those items. I buy in bulk cut them and then freeze in 1lb packs.
